Glad you asked.

Mr Fishtalk is doing fine.

To those who didn’t know, husband recently had leg bypass surgery. It was supposed to be a routine type of thing, serious surgery, sure, but a week, maybe a week and a half in the hospital...six weeks to recover.

Only husband is odd, this man who almost died not long ago of a brain infection of all things. After the operation his stomach just refused to work. He was in the hospital a whole month.

they couldn’t just let him out without the ability to nourish hisself. Mostly that’s about it, the poor guy laid in a bed as milk of some kind flowed into his veins. Every oncit they’d take out his stomach tube. He’d then throw up, his body would blow up like a balloon, and they’d put it right back down.

He was in the ICU for almost three weeks.

Guess how much his hospital bill was? I am not making this up.

$224,000!!!!!

I divided that number by the 28 days he was in the hospital. It comes to $7,500 a night!

For that amount of money we could have rented an Embassy Suites and hired full time around the clock nursing care.

That does include the use of the hospital operating room, true, but it does NOT include the ICU doctors who looked in on him, the surgeon or his fee, the Anesthiologists or the Xray guy who looked at the xrays every couple of days as they struggled desperately to ascertain if there was a blockage.

Our insurance paid it all. I don’t know if they paid that much money. Insurances tend to negotiate these things. I ohnly know according to our statement we get from the insurance, they SAID they paid it all, after demanding an itemized bill.

For comparison, when husband had brain infection and was in ICU upstate for two weeks than another week in medical ward, hospital bill was $70,000. and THAT hospital was a great big, modern affair. Our little hospital here in the swamps....heh.

But husband is doing fine. Once his stomach started to work he came home and by that time his sutures were almost healed. He walks around fine and crossing fingers, life is good, peaceful.

Husband tells me under no circumstances will he ever go into a hospital again.

Pretty firm, perhaps unwise words. But the guy does seem to have some kind of weird thing with his body.

THIS after a lifetime of excellent health with, I’m not making this up, thirty years of perfect attendance.

Just another story from the swamps of Delaware.

“Just listened to the Chris Christie interview on this week..This damn guy is good...better than good, he’s great!!” Totally agree! He’s very quick, very direct, and seems to be very principled. How refreshing!

Tivo'd it myself and replayed it already.

You're gonna love his response to the teacher...well, I think you will. I know I did :)

Do you remember in Colorado during the primaries, Bill was screaming about SEIU rigging the ballots? F&F weekends has been caring the “We will not be silenced” film made about Bambi’s union thugs messing with the primaries. They can’t get a single “real media” place to carry it.

Thanks Paleo and now we see the structure they organized their groupthink. You can only imagine the number of Huff&Puffs/Dailykooks, media matter$oro$, etc who organized the stratgies. A really frightening organization.

Pray for America

The “vanguard” of the leftist press in America (the DailyKooks et al) are a logical outcome of Trotsky’s comintern concept as it played out over a century of colonization, influence and infiltration of the worldwide press—which the Far Left now clearly outright owns.

It really is more frightening than we can fathom at this point—a for-real “1984” platform for the re-writing of History and the advancement of newspeak. You don’t get this kind of press and not get gulags and police state formulations with it.

Who is so naive as to believe the Journolistos would not lock us up behind barb wire first chance they got?

Gingrich has been playing that ‘I might, I might not’ game since 2007. He wants a groundswell to rise up for him, and so far, it hasn’t.

And, IMHO, won't!

How right you are! It’s much easier to feel than it is to think.

####

Feelings cannot be argued with, because they are personal and internal. Hence a rational discussion on facts and merits is impossible with a leftist. They must be reached on the purely subjective level.

Never mind that black and hispanic unemployment is at historic highs and the administration thinks legalizing millions of illegal immigrants is the answer.

If the minorities think Obama is the answer they are exercising an economic death wish.

You can imagine their emails are strategizing to ignore Jourolist and let it blow over. This seems to be their basic tact for these types of scandals. We need to blast it everywhere and expose their treachery.

My book completely exposes the establishmedia and the scandals they have hidden. It is a must read even though I wrote it.

Pray for America

I will not cast my vote for Coons but will abstain from the vote for that office should Castle win the pub nomination.

Best get your friends out pushing O’Donnell. The Del. primary is Sept. 14, btw.

Bonus Question: Why does Timothy Geithener mutter and talk fast exactly like David Axelrod?

Birds of a feather, flock together?

Someone kindly informed me about a mistake I made in a recent comment.

I said Delaware was the ONLY state with more senators than Representatives. I meant to say that Delaware was one of the FEW states in that geometric position.

Thanks for the heads up...you know who you are.

Let me take a moment and point out, while I got your attention, that this factoid makes the one and only Representative way more powerful than either Senator.

Just sayin’.

Was today’s Gospel a message for us? I believe that we must pray as much as we can between now and November:

Luke 11:9 So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

[be persistent; don’t quit.]

“They must be reached on the purely subjective level.”

Yes, indeed. They specialize in demagoguery in its purest form. And if you disagree with them even slightly, you’re labeled greedy and mean. Headache and a half!!

Waiting for Brietbart to disclose who sent him the (bait) edited tape in the first place. Since naacp were the owners of the tape, I’d say it was one of them that set him up!

Jesse's biological father was Noah Robinson, who came from the same area that Michelle Robinson Obama's ancestors were from. Can you all sing: WE ARE FAMILY....

I once had my tivo set to tape Fox and Friends every morning, but kinda found that I never seemed to have time to watch it. I loved it and one can watch the tivo in about 40 minutes by fast forwarding through all the commercials, fluff and stuff I’m not interested in.

But I changed to tivo-ing Megyn’s show. She is so good.

Regarding Steve and E.D’s so-called feud. Find that hard to believe. Steve seems to be the ultimate good natured guy and I think anything he said to her was meant to be pleasant teasing.

I don’t really know what happened to E.D. I did at one time, I liked her also.

And I enjoy it when he gets a field report from his cute clone of a son.

The Ten Commandments According to Obama

By: Patriot Update

I. Thou shalt have no God in America, except for me. For we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am the chosen One. (And like God, I do not have a birth certificate.) SOURCE

II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, unless it is my face carved on Mt. Rushmore. SOURCE

III. Thou shalt not utter my middle name in vain (or in public). Only I can say Barack Hussein Obama. SOURCE

IV. Remember tax day, April 15th, to keep it holy. SOURCE

V. Honour thy father and thy mother until they are too old and sick to care for. They will cost our public-funded health-care system too much money. SOURCE

VI. Thou shalt not kill, unless you have an unwanted, unborn baby. For it would be an abomination to punish your daughter with a baby. SOURCE

VII. Thou shalt not commit adultery if you are conservative or a Republican. Liberals and Democrats are hereby forgiven for all of their infidelity and immorality, but the careers of conservatives will be forever destroyed. SOURCE

VIII. Thou shalt not steal, until you've been elected to public office. Only then is it acceptable to take money from hard-working, successful citizens and give it to those who do not work, illegal immigrants, or those who do not have the motivation to better their own lives. SOURCE

IX. Thou shalt not discriminate against thy neighbor unless they are conservative, Caucasian, or Christian. SOURCE

X. Thou shalt not covet because it is simply unnecessary. I will place such a heavy tax burden on those that have achieved the American Dream that, by the end of my term as President, nobody will have any wealth or material goods left for you to covet. SOURCE

Wasn’t it cute of Obama to blame the Ag Director for the fiasco?

We all know the directive came straight from The One.

The couple of times he’s acted in a timely manner have both been fiascos.

The cops acted stupidly and fire that woman.

Maybe it’s well that he dawdles about every decision.
