He's just another ruling class Bush who wants to clobber the average law abiding American citizen. The entire Bush family should relocate to another country.
Because he said that Hispanics contributed nothing and were all on welfare (far, far from true, even if you’re talking about Mexican day laborers, but certainly not true when you’re talking about self-made Cuban or Puerto Rican businessmen and wealthy refugee Venezuelans and Ecuadorians) and then went into a rant, only displaying his ignorance, about Spain and how horrible it was. I don’t know why he did this, because it wasn’t even relevant to what he was talking about, which was his candidacy for a county office. This was something the the women had obviously been prepared to support or they wouldn’t have been there.
He was an ignorant man who obviously didn’t know that the whole concept of “consent of the governed” to which Jefferson referred and the idea of the legitimacy of a people rising up against an unjust ruler came from the 16th century Spanish Jesuit Suarez, and that the concept of natural law also came via Spanish and Italian sources from Greece and Rome.
Still, be that as it may, the news media never covers things like this unless they expect it to be something that would be beneficial to the Dems. Come to think of it, maybe they should have covered it, because these two women...and probably everybody they knew...probably went right off to the Dems immediately after this. I was very disappointed in this candidate, and in fact, so were others, because he lost dismally in the election when it was held.
And I think this is the point George P. Bush is making.
Can I see a link?
Im the link. I was there
You have no link for a politician, which during a fund raising meeting got so vile and racist, the Hispanic women in the audience were leaving in tears?
Yet you have no news link for this?
Why should there be a news link?
You're joking? Opponents use this against their rivals all the time. Information like that is worth substantial money.
You don't know this?
Question:
What was so racist and vile that it made the Hispanic women in the audience leave the meeting in tears?
Because he said that Hispanics contributed nothing and were all on welfare
Pretty outrageous statement for some politician to say at a fund raiser.
What was this politicians name?
This article doesn’t mention it but Juan Hernandez is a co-founder of this group.
What hatred is that?
Please provide quotes and be specific.
Are you referring to the lying, pro-illegal alien Juan Hernandez that is seen on television from time to time?
Please, tell me it isn't this guy...
point out the ‘hatred’ dragnet2 has shown. go ahead, give it a try. where is it on this thread? I can’t find any ‘hatred’ anywhere.
So they’ll sell out actual American CONSERVATIVES in order to pander to illegals. Sounds EXACTLY like a Bush tactic.
We already have our own flag, too. The white flag. Symbol of surrender. The dear old white diaper of a dying race. Pretty soon there will not be enough of us to make a difference or remember one.
Over the years I’ve noticed something about the Mexicans and their descendants: most of them are very peeved about losing Texas, and then the territories lost in the Mexican War. They don’t like the USA. They may be conservative about something (besides that grievance) but they’re not conservative about the USA, its republic, its heritage, its values.
Most of the Tejanos I’ve encountered could care less about a centuries-old war and are more than happy that their particular families ended up on this side of the border. Of course most of the Tejanos I know were/are in the military or law enforcement so maybe it has more to do with the class of people than the ethnicity. Over the years I’ve noticed that people (myself included) like to look at the worst example of the ‘other’ and use that to make judgements. When you say “Mexican” I bet you’re not thinking of well-educated, professional Hispanics of Mexican descent whose families have lived here since before Sam Houston moved west...you’re thinking of a bunch of semi-literate peasants that have been fed leftist propaganda by their commie agitators since the early 1900’s and don’t really like anyone or anything including themselves. They don’t know anything about the Mexican/American war (outside of a reason they’re ‘entitled’ to something) and could really care less. If you haven’t figured it out, it’s all about the “have nots” being fed propaganda by the Marxists in order to war on the “haves”. Don’t think for one second that the Mexican elite don’t have the same problems with these people and they’re more than happy to rid themselves of that simmering cesspool of revolution. I’ll be glad when we seal off the whole damn border so the rest of us aren’t forever lumped together with the lowest of our co-ethnics.
I guess that depends on what you mean by "well-educated." Most of my encounters are with academics, and the mushbrained college students in their care. And they're mostly overloaded with grievances against us imperialists.
Mind you, they don't march and swing flags, far as I know. I just ask them questions, and start discussions, and that lances the boils.
Well of course I wouldn’t consider an academic “well-educated”. lol. Well indoctrinated, more likely.
Well, I must say you have been very patient with her and her insults.
It’s good to see others speak out...
Stand up and stop the BS.
Tx
You seem eager...
But much more important, is others like yourself are paying attention.
You are wise.
I’ll have what dragnet2’s having.
