This is the night soil of a large and very well fed male water buffalo.

Someone needs to tell Simmons his 15 minutes is up. Pretty soon CNN and MSNBC will stop returning his calls.

Isn’t the oil that spilled into the Gulf organic?? I mean, it wasn’t processed.
Haven’t other areas with spills of similar intensity eventually returned to their form state?
Well, time will tell.

I remember when people (informed scientists, ecologists, bleeding hearts and MSM) were saying that the eruption of Mt. St. Helens would take centuries to recover from. I believe the same thing was opined for Mt. Pinatubo in the Philipines.
This ole Earth has recovered from much worse and Mother Nature recovers how she will.

And Carl Rove was behind this how?
Honestly, just waiting for the Halliburton shoe to drop.

He’s gone off the rails. I think the whole blowup of global warming first and now the peak oilers has unhinged him.

Oil could decimate aquatic life
If it's only reduced by 10% how did we kill the gulf?
To: blam
I don’t believe Mr. Simmons at this point.
I’m headed out to navarre Beach this weekend, and I intened to get in the water.

Full of shiite just because of nonsensical sentences like this....
“120,000 minimum of toxic poison has now covered the floor of the Gulf of Mexico..”
Exactly 120,000 minimum whats? Tablespoons, barrels, gallons, metric liters,...?

"Toxic poison"?
As opposed to what, exactly?
Wouldn't non-toxic poison be kind of pointless?

How can there be a cover up if we've killed the Gulf. Wouldn't that become obvious regardless of cover up attempts. The more guys that talk like this, the more convinced I am that 4 or 5 years from now there will be almost no noticeable effects.

I thought oil and gas is lighter than water? Isn’t that why we are skimming the surface? So what is on the floor that has destroyed the gulf?
To: blam
In five to ten years there will be little if any sign of this disaster, gulf life will flourish again and people like Simmons will have gone on to promote yet another one of their favorite boogeymen.
