I’m headed out to navarre Beach this weekend, and I intened to get in the water.
We too are headed to South Walton or the Grand Hotel at Point Clear first of August.

I was at Sandestin from Friday to yesterday and it was beautiful. Wonderful.
Be advised that when you cross over Santa Rosa Sound to get to the beach, beneath you is a 7,000 year old Cypress forest that was flooded during the last surge/melt of the Ice Age.
When they laid the water/gas/etc pipes to the beach, I drove over there and got some of the wood they dug up. It looks perfect and has an orange tinge.
