A son of Osama bin Laden said about 20 members of his family stranded in Iran are seeking sanctuary in a third country and that the U.S. may agree to accept them....

I remember that one of the sons got permission to leave Iran to go fight for Hezbollah during Israel’s war in south Lebanon. I assumed it was out of solidarity (and probably was in part) but it may also have been just a way out of Iran.
Would that be the son who is now in Qatar?

They used to hang out about 30 minutes from here in Sunrise Beach on the Highland Lakes. Had a nice lake mansion.
Right after 9/11, the house was combed for hairbrushes, isolating DNA.
