During the show Laura had been playing parts of her new book "The Obama Diaries" and lampooning the first couple as well as Sherrif Joe. During the last minute there was a caller and I think it was Mama Robinson calling in to castigate Laura for making fun Barry and Michelle. The whole back and fourth between Laura and caller sounded unscripted and Laura seemed to be taken by suprise when she realized that she may have indeed been talking to Mama Robinson. Laura asked the caller to identify herself but the caller declined and ended the conversation saying that Laura would hear from her lawyers. Immediately after that, the show cut off and Laura wasn't able to comment on the exchange.
Since I only caught the last part of this can someone verify if that did take place of was it just another part of her promotion for the "Obama Diaries"?

I love to listen to Laura Ingraham but the book hype is getting a little tedious. (But she has persuaded me to buy it-as soon as Costco gets it in.)

if you talk radio fans out there have not already noticed, 2010 is the Year of the Black Seminar Caller...

That’s the way I heard it, too. But I couldn’t tell if the caller was really the Grandmother or if it was a skit done by Ingraham.

I hope she sells a lot of books, and then sells the rights for millions. Then I will never have to hear her promote it again ;) I love Laura, but it gets old with every talker promoting something, though Rush may be the worst with his stupid commercials which start out sounding like news pieces ;)

Nope. Sounded real, but Miss Laura’s a pretty good actress.
Notice, too, that they planned it right before the top of the hour.
Fo schizzle!

Red Foxx (whom I loved) once said, “There ain’t nothing uglier than an old white woman.” Sorry, Red, this picture disproves that.

Then I will never have to hear her promote it again ;) I love Laura, but . . . Did you hear O'Reilly wrote a book? It's called "Bold and Fresh" . It's an autobiography. By Bill O'Reilly. "Bold and Fresh".

It sounds like Laura’s certainly going to have you as a listener next episode. I wonder what tomorrow’s cliffhanger is going to be?

I am almost sure it was a book pitch.
I checked her website and Her "Call for the day" was from a Mitch talking about Michelle's opening pitch.

Seems like Hannity has had one on every day recently. I have to turn it off. They are impossible to listen to.

Those ads that start out sounding like a news piece: I fall for them every time and then feel like a sucker. I guess it helps sell stuff, but not to me.
