Grahm is so clearly a homosexual plant in the Republican party. He seeks to promote one of “his own kind” to the bench.

No mystery.

The little queer needs to be removed.

I am SURE there is some scandal in-hand by the Dem’s that keeps this a-hole in their column. Other than the fact that he’s a faggot, he votes with them continuously, and says he’s a “Republican”. What an ass.

"If there is no "good" reason, what is the reason for his reelection if you are correct that SC is one of the most conservative states in the nation? "

I don't know. It makes no logical sense that the same state would comfortably elect a guy like Jim DeMint who in 2008 had ACU of 100, and also elect Lindsey Graham, who in 2008 had an ACU rating of 82. The cognitive dissonance is stunning. I can't explain it.

I’m getting attacked in another thread for sharing the same sentiments.

Many on this site are beyond deluded as to the fact that as a nation we are screwed not because of the population, but the population itself.

And after it’s all over, he’ll slip out of his bra and pumps into something more comfortable and sit down with McCain and his other nutless RINO wonder pals and congratulate each other on how they “reached across the aisle” and all...

Why does the republican leadership (also known as the party of discipline) allow this guy to serve on the Judiciary Committee?

Also, poor Lindsey has to travel with a security detail in SC because he KNOWS everyone hates him. He is thoroughly Establishment and in the pocket of Duke power who wants the big energy taxes.

If Graham makes any moves to support cap n tax--it'll be time to go to Open Secrets, get the names and addresses of the energy companies who donate to him, and start writing letters to their CEOs. They are all located in SC, interestingly enough. I've already got their names on a list. Maybe they'll enjoy a few phone calls, too.

So, if any of Graham's staff read FR, and I'll bet they do, let them take a warning. South Carolinians will not tolerate his support of imposing an energy tax.

Who the heck keeps voting for this guy? Do they have a death wish? A problem with masochism? Low self esteem?

Yup.

The majority here at FR seem to believe that we are also in the majority at large.

We are not.

The silent majority has become the corrupt, distracted, ignorant, lazy majority. If they are silent, it’s only because they don’t know what’s really going on.

Even while they are being ridiculed by the RINOs and demoncRATs, and impoverished and even killed by the policies of these treacherous traitors, they will continue to vote for them, believing the ever more ridiculous sweet talking lies and appeals to raw emotionalism.

We are sunk if things continue in this way.

Our only hope is to leave the cities, have lots of babies, and educate them at home, refusing to participate in the school collectives designed by our would be statist masters.

The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.

Oh, and don’t forget to buy lots of guns, ammo, heirloom seeds, and medicines. It’s going to be a long time before we can turn this around, if it can be done at all.

The Rats didn’t run a candidate against him in the last election. They described him as “the best democrat they could hope to elect in South Carolina”. That’s how he got re-elected.

There is a good reason you just arent willing to say it. If (big if) the electorate is truly conservative then they aren’t doing the homework necessary to make good choices at the ballot box. OTOH maybe they think Mr Graham does represent them in which case they’re far more liberal then youre willing to admit. Either way it makes them look pretty bad. SC certainly isnt alone in this as most every state has their share of DC fools. The problem is no one is willing to belly up and run against them.

'OTOH maybe they think Mr Graham does represent them in which case they’re far more liberal then youre willing to admit."

Two words, Jim DeMint. Two more words, Nikki Haley (and even Mark Sanford before he went crazy). The SC GOP doesn't seem to have any other problems voting for plainly conservative Republicans. Why is Lindsey Graham so different?
