LOL — but when I was in Moscow in June of ‘85 it was about 90 degrees and with sun shining at 11 p.m., those were long hot days.
Sounds like a problem with type of crop and irrigation more than the temperature to me. Plenty of crops grow fine in 96 degree heat.

The two pictures seem to put it in perspective. The first from the dust bowl days and the second, the four horseman, of whom I am sure there was plent of reference in the dust bowl days.

Maybe more truth than you know. I also remember a story of last years global food supply being just about a month short. Time to invest in farm land?
