Tonight, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will debate his primary challengers, former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) and conservative "tea party" activist Jim Deakin in one of only two Republican primary debates.
During the one hour debate, Hayworth will likely concentrate on McCain's 28 years in Congress with a focus on his position on immigration. Deakin said he will compare and contrast his approach in representing constituents to the "other two entrenched politicians." A McCain campaign spokesman said that the Senator "looks forward to a spirited discussion on the issues facing Arizonans."
The LIVE debate will take place tonight at KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Arizona.
“Mac is visibly rattled. Stuttering.”
He seemed mentally muddled. He lost his train of thought 2-3 times. Senility?
” Oh Im sure someone will send him a link. Thats all that is needed. “
Hildy can get it to him.
It’s pathetic how similar, both, John McCain and Barack Obama were, during the ‘08 POTUS election: both pro-socialists on many issues, both, probably, not born in the U.S., and both full of controversies.
” People don’t like JD. “
No, Once-Ler, you are confused. We don’t like you!
I had forgotten that this debate was being held and didn’t see it. I know I would have remembvered it was being staged if I had any faith in the Republican primary voters of AZ. And now that Democrats can come forward to renominate McPain, there is nothing we can do because AZ is also full of Democrats. As far as Soros, J.D. I am sure didn’t mention him because the people of AZ don’t know who he is. The same AZ people saying they favor immigration restrictions will negate their position when they renominate and reelect McPain, as I am convinced they will.
McPain spent his time trying to woo the harder-core socialists and then seemed surprised that they stuck with Obama. People in AZ will never figure him out. They are his enablers.
No, it won’t happen because 2/3 of all voters everywhere vote straight party tickets.
McCain buys into every dem lie they spout. Either he can't learn or he actually believes that crapola. John, you are a sucker (fool)!
Was “Lovable Lindsey” there to provide the “moral support” for McPain? He could be like the trainer who wipes off the sweat of the boxer between rounds. Lindsey might even wind up being the swecond choice of AZ voters.
“Old and mean” sounds like what AZ people are looking for in a candidate. I don’t think these voters know that renominating McPain will negate their immigration restriction support.
I read in the history book years ago that Robert M. LaFollette, Sr., of WI was going to run for President in 1912 against Taft for the Republican nomination. But LaFollette gave a long, rambling speech somewhere about not much of anything, and his supporters switched over to Theodore Roosevelt, who still lost the nomination to Taft. It sounds as if McPain performed as poorly in this debate as LaFollette did in 1912, but I don’t think it will matter to stubborn AZ voters who keep this incumbent there forever. Maybe those voters are trying to punish the rest of us.
That 15 percent must be the blindest of the AZ blind.
Yeah ;-)
Well, as the late Roman Hruksa might have said, “even the senile need representation too.”
McCain has spent enough money against McCain to buy a hi rise.
Arizona is also suffering from east coast liberals moving out here for retirement.
They already destroyed Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, over the past 35 years so I guess they decided to try us.
McCain has spent enough money against McCain to buy a hi rise.
McCain has spent enough money against Hayworth to buy a hi rise.
Okay, its 6:00 AM here ;-)
“”AuntB? You smacked down this troll once before, got your broom handy?”
Once? Every time there is a challenge to openborderdom, Once-ler is there leading the defense! He’s a long time member of the squatter support squad. NOTHING scares Once-ler more than conservatives.
AMEN!!!!
” NOTHING scares Once-ler more than conservatives. “
Conservatives and the TRUTH.
