The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) posted a threatening warning on Twitter yesterday adressed to millions of Tea Party activists as news broke of statements by the NAACP accusing the Tea Party of being a racist group led by "hardcore white supremacists."

The NAACP is holding its 101st anniversary convention in Kansas City this week. A resolution falsely accusing the Tea Party of being a racist organization is scheduled to be voted on today by the group.
The convention's theme is "One Nation, One Dream" which ties in with the name of a new leftist coalition the NAACP co-founded called "One Nation" whose goal is to mobilize voters against the Tea Party and in favor of the radical leftist agenda of Barack Obama and the Democrat party.
The New Black Panther Party has threatened the Tea Party-style rally being held by talk show host Glenn Beck on August 28 at the Lincoln Memorial.
The threatening message posted on Twitter by the NAACP refers to alleged incidents in March when several Black Democrat Congressmen accused Tea Party protesters of screaming "n*****!" at them at the Capitol. One Congressman also accused the protesters of spitting on him.
No evidence or witnesses were ever produced to support the claims. No arrests were made, even though Capitol police were all around that day.
A $100,000 reward for proof of the alleged racist attacks offered by Andrew Breitbart has gone unclaimed.
Video does exist of the NAACP calling a Black man who was beaten and called "n*****" by union goons at a Tea Party protest an "Uncle Tom" and other racist terms.
The people who rioted in 1968 are running the government today.

I hope any and all associated with the Tea Party movement stays on message: It’s the constitution and the spending. Ignoring the first and going wild on the second hurts all Americans and future generations.
As to the other, don’t stoop to their baiting. It is their last, dying gasp to remain relevant. What a shame such a worthy organization has fallen so far.

It's not the minorities but everyone that is dependent upon the government that will create havoc when governments go broke.
Increased tensions between whites and minorities will affect us in our daily lives. I see it already when the Walmart clerk of a different race than I goes from joking with a same race customer ahead of me to a scowl as my stuff is scanned. I believe though that a race war is the least likely and the least of our worries.
I see a CWII more likely and a WWIII even more likely. What happens will depend upon how deep in debt the world is, the amount of distraction required and which war is easiest to start. Interesting times...

The NAACP resolution says we should condemn racism in the Tea Party movement. Okay, I will condemn racism if I find any. But I will not give any credence to unfounded charges in a group that I don’t find as being racist.
Now, when are they going to pass a resolution concerning the Black Muslims or the New Black Panther Party?

The US military will probably be too busy being purged or on lock down if they are not bottled up overseas or simply exterminated where they are confined to their bases, disarmed of course.

That’s more incentive than Barbarians throughout history have ever been able to pass up, especially when their target is destroying itself from within.
By the looks of things in the MidEast, things could go critical mass any day now, and I opine that as soon as the Iran / Israel thing breaks, something will happen here to keep us right the heck out of it.

And you, my friend, seem to have been reading way too much Armageddon-type, end of the world articles. I think you've convinced yourself that we're essentially defenseless.
It's just not true. America is still the most dangerous killing machine on the planet. Given just the right threat and level of pressure, that machine will go into full gear and wreak unimaginable destruction on anything or anyone it's pointed at.
What exactly would generate the chaos you're talking about? An attempted declaration of martial law?
First of all, the federal government doesn't run elections, the states do. Think of the vast and formidable reach of power that would be required to stop free elections in every precinct in America. Hard to imagine.
Obama would need something on the scale of a nationwide insurrection to even have the justification to declare martial law. Even then, it probably wouldn't stick, because he doesn't have the support of the military, nor is Congress marching in lock-step to his every beck and call.
If he were to try something like that, you can bet your ass that a mob of congressmen would have some kind of paper filed with the Supreme Court within the hour, demanding an arrest warrant on Obama for that attempted coup.
A president can't simply declare martial law over a country of 300 million people without first having some key preparations in place, first of which is a disarmed citizenry. Secondly, a president would have to have the unquestioned loyalty of the entire military. Thirdly, a president would have to have an ironclad reason to declare martial law. It would have to be viewed by nearly every person in the country as the best possible solution to the "crisis", to have any hope of success.
Obama doesn't have any of these key factors in place, which means that even if he lays awake at night dreaming of putting his boot on the neck of the American people, it'll never come to pass.

So, two years ago nobody ever would have thought that he would have nationalized GM and Chrysler and given a large part of the companies to the unions with the bond holders losing everything. Bet ya really could have called that one now. When are people really going to start considering the idea this bastard cares nothing about the rule of law?
