NAACP Posts Twitter Threat to Tea Party

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) posted a threatening warning on Twitter yesterday adressed to millions of Tea Party activists as news broke of statements by the NAACP accusing the Tea Party of being a racist group led by "hardcore white supremacists."

Msg to Tea Party: We will not allow u to send bigots into the Capitol, call civil rts heroes epithets & act like you didnt send em #NAACP101 about 16 hours ago via twidroid

The NAACP is holding its 101st anniversary convention in Kansas City this week. A resolution falsely accusing the Tea Party of being a racist organization is scheduled to be voted on today by the group.

The convention's theme is "One Nation, One Dream" which ties in with the name of a new leftist coalition the NAACP co-founded called "One Nation" whose goal is to mobilize voters against the Tea Party and in favor of the radical leftist agenda of Barack Obama and the Democrat party.

The New Black Panther Party has threatened the Tea Party-style rally being held by talk show host Glenn Beck on August 28 at the Lincoln Memorial.

The threatening message posted on Twitter by the NAACP refers to alleged incidents in March when several Black Democrat Congressmen accused Tea Party protesters of screaming "n*****!" at them at the Capitol. One Congressman also accused the protesters of spitting on him.

No evidence or witnesses were ever produced to support the claims. No arrests were made, even though Capitol police were all around that day.

A $100,000 reward for proof of the alleged racist attacks offered by Andrew Breitbart has gone unclaimed.

Video does exist of the NAACP calling a Black man who was beaten and called "n*****" by union goons at a Tea Party protest an "Uncle Tom" and other racist terms.

Well, I am livid about this. How dae they call me a racist. We must go ahead and file a lawsuit because that would keep THEM busy until after the election and tamp down some of their rhetoric as well. WE NEED A LAWYER. I think that the Tea Party Express should be the ones to put out the strong statement. They have the means to get the message out there.

That’s good. Now the other Tea Party organizations need to follow suit. I’m going to contact my Tea Party leader and ask them to put a statement in our local paper, and get the Charleston area Tea Party to also make a strong statement. Everyone who is connected to a Tea Party, urge your leaders to release a statement condemning these race-baiting comments.

Watch what you want, don’t worry what I view. I like FOX. Despite that they *shock* don’t mirror my exact viewpoints on every segment, every day.

The NAACP is silent on the racism of “The Race” (aka La Raza) and that group’s racist rallies.

Someone know how to bring this to Beck’s attention? I am sure he would be interested.

Tim Scott, Republican candidate for Congress in South Carolina’s First Congressional District, issued the following statement today: “I understand that the NAACP, at its annual conference in Kansas City, will vote today on a resolution condemning the Tea Party movement as “racist”. I believe that the NAACP is making a grave mistake in stereotyping a diverse group of Americans who care deeply about their country and who contribute their time, energy and resources to make a difference.” “As I campaign in South Carolina, I participate in numerous events sponsored by the Tea Party, 9/12, Patriot, and other like-minded groups, and I have had the opportunity to get to know many of the men and women who make up these energetic grassroots organizations. Americans need to know that the Tea Party is a color-blind movement that has principled differences with many of the leaders in Washington, both Democrats and Republicans. Their aim is to support the strongest candidates – regardless of color or background – who will fight to return our country to its Constitutional roots of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets.”

Amen. Go Tim!

Those who foolishly assumed that electing a 'Black' (mixed race, really) president would be the culmination of 50 years of movement toward fulfilling Dr. Martin Luther King's dream (Black people would someday be judged on the content of their character not the color of their skin) must be truly heartbroken by this spew of lies and threats based on sheer hatred for 'whites' coming from the once-respected NAACP, which has long since abandoned any pretense of being much more than a hard-left, anti-white gaggle of thugs wearing nice suits. No wonder Michelle Obama felt so comfortable addressing that group of haters.

I doubt there will be a 'race war' in America but there certainly is going to be a hardening of attitudes on the part of well-intentioned white people, appalled at the vicious hatred toward their race coming from Black organizations. The New Black Panthers can be dismissed as a bunch of racist loons with a lot of tough-guy talk but most Americans think of the NAACP as the fairly reputable Black organization it once was. That being the case, this kind of palpable lie will convince some that the Tea Party really is 'racist' but I believe that the majority of clear thinking Americans will be shocked at this kind of unsubtle threat from the NAACP and be first, appalled, then, angry. In short, I think this will backfire.

I'm sure that the Obama administration is behind this, especially in light of Michelle Obamas appearance at the NAACP convention this week. They're probably hoping to (a) smear the Tea Party (a group they rightly fear) and, (b) antagonize just enough Tea Party members (at the Beck rally, August 28th) to act violently toward a Black person - any Black person - (likely with some leftist plants doing the violence) and get it on video to 'prove' their case.

As has been suggested, Beck rally attendees should have video cameras at the ready to record any attempts at violence toward Whites from Blacks - and attendees should definitely avoid lifting a hand to anyone, or even getting into shouting matches. This goes nowhere but helps the leftists 'prove' that Tea Party members are 'racist' (because you're shouting back at a Black person).

The left hopes to convince Americans that the Tea Party is 'racist' and something to avoid. They would love to have some Black person with a bloody face to shove on camera to 'prove' that White Tea Party activists hit them out of sheer racism. This is how Blacks in the south convinced northern Whites to join their cause and fight for Black civil rights, back in the 1960's. Using TV images of White attacks on Blacks. It was successful because northern Whites were shocked and the physical assaults by Whites on Blacks (sometime just kids) moved many otherwise apathetic Whites to champion the cause of Black civil rights. I suspect that the Obama people are planning to do it again, only this time, for nefarious reasons - political power. They know that a majority of Americans are fed up with Obama and the Democrats and that the Tea Party (and Sarah Palin) are the greatest threat to their holding on to power. Hence, the NAACP, as ordered, issues a hate-filled threat against the Tea Party folks that is based on audacious lies and flagrant race-baiting.

I'm hoping that most Americans will ignore this NAACP trash out of disgust but I also suspect that the Obama administration and the Democrats are hoping that some Americans will feel 'guilty' for opposing Obama ('the cool Black guy') and fear racial strife on a national plane and so, just shut up about their disenchantment with 'The One'. I also suspect that they are making a huge miscalculation. Most people want peace and prosperity, not a bad economy, massive unemployment and then, racial strife. If that's what they perceive Obama and the Democrats are offering (and it is), the November election will really 'clean house' in a way the country has never experienced. I can't wait.

I am livid too and all for putting out a statement and possibly filing a lawsuit. I just don’t want this crap to get out of hand and play right into their hands. They would love nothing more than to start a real race war and have riots and violence in the streets. It’s all BS meant to stir it up. I just don’t want us to take the bait.

We will not be silenced with phony accusations of racism. That’s what we should say and then get back to work exposing THEIR RACISM and MARXISM. Their racism is there for everyone to see!

I have no enmity between myself and any race or group

but if someone or some group wants to start a war with me or my groups (teaparty, 2nd Amendment organizations etc), in order to take from me my constitutional freedoms, bring it on.

The later. This will accelerate exponentially...

No one can say how bad it will be so better to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best, especially if you live in an area with a high minority population.

“They would love nothing more than to start a real race war...”

###

They might like to START one, but they would most assuredly not like how it will END.

They have been deluded and emboldened by the fact that even after decades of them being on the offensive, whites have yet to return fire.

I wonder if the Black Pampers or the NAACP will attack a Tea Party member. Probably. Will the ACLU or SPLC represent the tea party and sue the NAACP for everything they own? Somehow I don’t think so.

I don’t see most blacks falling for it frankly. Most of them know in their hearts this isn’t about Obama’s race. This is only going to drag Obama and the democrats poll numbers down even further imho. It looks like just what it is... desperate and dangerous race baiting.
