He’s transparent all right. We see right through him. Straight through to his constitution-hating Marxist soul.

Modern American Liberals believe in freedom of speech only for liberal ideas.

Like many things, this administration promised everything to everyone, even if they contradicted themselves on the campaign trail. “Transparency” was a popular buzz word at the time, so they threw that around too. When Iraq was uncool he said he would leave. When GITMO was uncool, he said he would close it........... All this guy did to win the highest office of the land was take every theme out there that was popular and say he supports it, and doesn't support anything unpopular. He essentially promised everyone everything from free college, health care, more money for AIDS research, more spending on science, education, all while cutting taxes on the middle class..... bla bla bla. He was for gun rights, and against them, for abortion, but against it, he though people that are religious are great and stupid, he thinks highly and less of small towns and fly over America all at the same time. Promise it all, take the side that 50.01% likes on all issues, and string together every buzz word known to man. Obama is the first regenerative, sustainable, green, organic, gender and orientation diverse, holistic, transparent, peace, love, happiness, hope, change, nuance, secular, religious, post racial, black, patriotic American, supra/international, bipartisan, President. If there was a buzzword, they used it. Of course "transparency" found it's way in there too.

Do you really think they will lower the taxes for the middle class? Reduce our deficit by half within a few years?........... lol Promise ANYTHING! Was it really even remotely possible to close GITMO and cut out from Iraq within a year without causing mayhem? Just throw some crap out there that sounds good and shows you have a plan.

The sad thing is that it worked, and no one, including the so called watch dog media asked if the positions and speeches of presidential candidate Obama even remotely appeared feasible. What does it say about an electorate if they vote for someone blatantly telling them lies but because they like what they hear, even if far removed from reality, they elect the guy?

The only question I really have is if America is smart enough to smell the rat and get pissed off about the lies they were sold by this used car salesman. The fact that he won't deliver, the fact that things are in a grotesque way getting worse economically, in national security, even socially, will it be reflected in the elections of 2010 and 2012, or will a pretty speech, a cool girl singing a song on Youtube, endorsements by Oprah and race trump all? Let's see.

I can imagine that it is hard to get much done with all the people who consider themselves part of the media inserting themselves into the recovery efforts in generally unproductive ways.

They do need to have some authority to demand those not directly involved in the recovery effort not get in the way, or all the different activists wanting to make this the issue that puts them on the map may very well significantly hamper the effort.

300 feet does sound a bit far. 65 feet seems more reasonable. A little closer might be better, but it may also make it difficult to move people and resources around if they can't create some buffer.

I guess they will need to set up some tripods and telephoto lenses. 65 feet really isn't all that far for pictures and video. Makes it harder to pick up audio.

When you sleep with dogs you get fleas. And, furthermore, when you sleep with a liar you are going to get lies. The media chose to support this abomination of an administration.

That's right, the most transparent administration in history has made it a felony, effective July 1, to get within 65 feet of what the Coast Guard determines are essential recovery efforts.

Greenpeace take notice, a precedent has been set.

But let's be blunt; 65 feet, 23 yards, isn't much. FELONY? I take complete issue with that, but as a hobby photographer even my little 6MB pocket camera (the one I have pretty with me much all the time) would get all the photos I'd need to antagonize this administration.

Even without its silly little 3x optical zoom.

This issue looks more like a non-interference issue, because it really doesn't restrict photographers. There may be something else involved but I don't know what it is.

Is Al-Qaida planning to attack CG ships?? They might have to deal with Anoreth and in such a battle I'd bet all on Anoreth.
