DON'T GET NUKED
The Navy and Marine Corps rightly spend much of their time on chemical, biological and radiological training. As bombs and triggering devices become more mobile and terrorists become more sophisticated, it is important to prepare ourselves for disaster while hoping that it will be avoided.
Regarding chemical and biological warfare, it is especially difficult to believe that something so small and invisible can be so deadly and dangerous. Just a little toxin in the air . . . and the next thing you know you're doing the "funky chicken" on the ground. Bad attitudes can be like that, too! Invisible and deadly. So can negativity, apathy, lethargy, and passivity. You can't really see those invisible attitude-toxins. But they are deadly poison. Just one little taste . . . and destruction of the soul follows.
Prayer: Heavenly God and Protector of our lives ... Give us a zest for life. Protect us from all the poisons and toxins that threaten our soul and spirit. Help us to suit up with anticipation and excitement for all which life has to offer. Cause us to breathe in the fresh air of purity and righteousness. And, Lord, if there does come a time of destruction and war, protect us from any form of chemical, biological, or nuclear warfare. May common sense and peace prevail in this troubled world and bring us hope. Amen.

Hiya darlin'....
I splurged and took her to Arby's!
Sometimes it's really not about the food Dad but about the time spent together right?
So good to spend time with those you love!
However.....if you ever take me somewhere to dinner there will be prerequisites! LOL

Thank you. He was all smiles today. Said the only pain was if touched....to be expected considering what the skin and tissue has been through. We are all surprised at how good it looks...so much better than stitches, and that probably wouldn’t have held in the thin skin.
