Malik Zulu Shabazz, chairman of the New Black Panther Party, is leading the fight for Barack Obama against the Tea Party. In a July 8th interview on Russian English-language news channel RT, Shabazz comes out after Fox News, Glenn Beck and Tea Partiers. Asserting the Fox News audience is made up of mainly whites, Republicans, some independents, Confederates, hard right-wingers and racist organizations, Shabazz supported President Obama’s “post-racial” attitude pronouncing,
“It’s really the dissatisfied whites in America that are saying they want to take their country back. We interpret that as meaning take our country back from this black man who happens to be the president.”“Post-racial” my ass. You can no longer disagree with a man on principle and ideology without being called a racist. This is the Left’s new cry as they endeavor to silence citizens by playing on white guilt. But Barack Obama’s new civilian army not only hopes to intensify racial divisions in America, they’ve declared war on the Tea Party. Remember those folks, the grandmothers, the grandfathers, the citizens who disagree with mammouth government spending, Democrat slushfunds at taxpayer expense, and direct violations of Constitutional law? Shabazz is now threatening,

Think “batons”, lest you want Malik and his boyz to take a baton to your defenseless behind, starting with destroying said video camera. First they’ll go after the cameras, then your heads.
These guys will show up, they said they would. If they don’t, they take a big hit in credibility. Besides, they really aren’t that afraid of some “old white crackas in the Tea party”. They have no compunctions about hitting women and old people.

The other idea I have is to have a walking sticks / cane fr a sturdy construction that they can be used for stick fighting (think modern Arnis).

That wasn't how I interpreted it, though I understand your point. He was saying we should never forget (as the CNN reporterette did) that the originals by comparison were stone cold killers. The CNN interview with Seale was almost worshipful.
The whole history of the originals was distorted by what came to be called "radical chic." Leonard Bernstein hosted an upscale party for them and Marxist Hollywood stars like Jane Fonda buzzed around them like flies, giving them near-star status in the media and public mind. Seale himself was implicated in the torture-murder of Alex Rackley but escaped conviction. David Horowitz's friend Betty Van Patter was murdered by the Panthers but the crime went unpunished.
This "Human Events" article gives only a partial accounting of the originals' violent history: Original Black Panthers Writing in his autobiography Horowitz makes an interesting point about why so many of the Panthers' crimes went unpunished.
"It was interesting just how little concern there was for such crimes by people who considered themselves 'society's conscience.' But I understood why this was so...Once the Panthers [were found guilty of] the crimes, the truth was a threat to the progressive cause."

No doubt you can; most of of us out here, probably the same. However...the “spray and pray” won’t be aimed at you, me, or anyone like us; it’s aimed at elderly, women, children, and others too helpless, innocent, or untrained.

I had the momentary, frightening and fleeting thought, that the NBPP and their “approved” racist hate speech might just be intended to prod their “equivalent caucasian counterparts” into some sort of pre-emptive action, thereby giving the guv the excuse they so desperately seek to crack heads - “See!
