Obama DOJ Not To Enforce Law Requiring Cleaning Voting Lists

The Obama administration has directed Department of Justice staffers not to enforce the law requiring lists of dead or inactive voters be expunged, according to J. Christian Adams, the DOJ official whose May 14 resignation stems from the administration's squelching of voter intimidation charges against members of the New Black Panther Party for an incident that occurred on Election Day 2008 in Philadelphia.

The requirement is mandated by the 1993 Motor Voter Act.

Adams says the order was given last November at a meeting of the DOJ's Voting Section convened by Deputy Assistant Attorney General Julie Fernandes, a political appointee.

I have been looking around on this allegation. Did Mr. Adams make it during testimony in front of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights?

How can the Marxists retain power if they clean up the fraud?
How can Al Franken and Christine Gregoire gain power without election fraud?

You can’t seize control of the swamp if you clean things up!

Because the Lounge I hang around at is a hub of political activity in a predominantly Democrat district; a guy was bragging to he and a car load of his friends voted eleven times in 2008 using the “Bad Voter Lists”.

Who is going to launch a lawsuit against the criminal DOJ?

That’s what I’ve feared as well. When Iran did this and there were protests in the street, the Obama Administration was curiously silent. 2010 the people realize the situation they’re in, 2012 CWII.

I sure hope J. Christian Adams has hired a few food tasters.

I wish Mr. Adams well.

Exactly, and that is why our Congress-critters need to know that if they refuse to confront the lawlessness then it doesn’t matter what laws get passed. All the work of passing laws is totally wasted.

At this point the ONLY thing that Congress does which matters is to initiate criminal investigations of the lawless thugs wherever they are found.

Darrell Issa knows that. If the Republicans take the House he will become the chair of the House Ethics Committee and plans to investigate a bunch of stuff. Pelosi knows that and has used that in a fundraising letter - saying that it will be a political witch-hunt if Repubs take the House.

What the rest of the country can see already is that the DOJ is using its position to politicize EVERYTHING so that there is no rule of law anywhere, and unless America as a whole stands up to the lawlessness America is dead.

Now we have to convince our Congress-critters that this is the critical issue and if they won’t take it head-on then they’re out.

I won't say that there aren't states more corrupt than N.J. -- Illinois comes to mind -- but N.J. is always in competition for the title.

And an honest Republican won in N.J. Obama is not as slick or as powerful as he likes people to think he is.

I don't know Hugo Chavez but if I did I would tell Barry that "I know Hugo Chavez and you are no Hugo Chavez".

Obozo even managed to get Hawaii a Republican congressman, for Pete's sake.

Just get mad and stay mad.

Isn’t the President sworn to uphold the laws of the nation??

Not directly, only the Constitution.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

However the Constitution also says:

The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America

The executive power is not defined, but I'm pretty sure it involves enforcement of the nations laws. Presidents have often chosen not to enforce laws for political and/or policy reasons. None of the non-enforcement actions have gone to the heart of representative government quite the way this does.

If we no longer have reasonably honest elections, we no longer have representative government, and the Constitution will have been effectively overthrown.

What scares me is, what happens when Obama decides that he doesn’t want to be replaced as President? He’s picking and choosing what laws to enforce what’s going to stop him from becoming permenant?

This is, of course, what one should expect when the federal government assumes powers properly those of the states.

The Constitution indicates that the states are to qualify voters, as well as determine how Presidential electors are selected. The qualifications need not be the same from state to state, as long as the qualifications used do not violated the federal Constitutional requirements in the various voting rights amendments. Rather than holding state officials accountable for violations of the 15th, 19th, 24th and 26th amendments, they instead pulled power to the federal level by a series of "regulations" and laws attempting to preemptively enforce those amendments.

Then the Dems should not be allowed to run for office.

I know, I know, I am an idiot for thinking this...

but you would think SOMEONE in the media wouldn’t be so over the top in the tank for Obama that they would report on this massive corruption.

Dropping charges against the NBB for voter intimidation, looking to file charges against the BART cop, the AZ lawsuit and now this.

I am trying not to give up. Really I am. I am seeing so much similarity in Hitler regime. All that’s left is killing members of the GOP in a Night of the Long Knives move.
