They could do very well if they were to use their bodies for short cash, but they aren't that dumb.
I'm not an easy dad to have, but I am very well repsected by 75% of my kids, about 90% of their friends, and about 100% of those kids parents.
I have NO problem buying a seasons pass to six flags for the poor kids my kids have, and I love to load my exploder full when we go to Six Flags.
Keep em' busy, keep em happy!
I think I spent more money on fishing poles for kids in Abbies grade that couldn't buy their own stuff (dead dads, scumbag parenst, etc) than i have spent on my own fishing gear this year. No, I KNOW I have, by about 4 times. :)
I call that an investment.
Besides, this way, i always get good reconnaisance that my kids are behaving or not.
You are a GOOD Dad...I do know that! They will always remember
the things you did for them when they are older!
You are a good man.
I really like your approach to kids....yours and their friends. Sounds like you may be the only “parent” some of them may have. Caring goes a long way and will be remembered forever.
You are, for sure, making a positive investment in their future.
