Obama as anti-business moves into mainstream discussion
The Daily Caller ^ | 7/8/10 | Jon Ward

The idea that President Obama is anti-business broke into the mainstream this week.

It has long been a widely held view on the right that Obama’s rhetorical nods to the free market and American business were little more than that. But as Washington slowly staggered back to work this week following a long July 4 weekend, discussions of Obama’s troubled relationship with the private sector popped up with surprising frequency.

Newsweek’s Fareed Zakaria wrote Monday that after speaking with numerous corporate executives, most of whom voted for Obama, he found that “all think he is, at his core, anti-business.” Tuesday, the Washington Post reported on a 65 percent decline from two years ago in donations to Democrats from Wall Street, due to the financial regulation bill nearing passage in Congress.

The liberals who lie like Soviets in denial of basic facts are now fessing up.

So does that mean they will purge the last 3 years of media support for Obama’s policies? How about the angry editorials against those who pointed out these truths years ago?

Obama wasn’t vetted. The Pravda Media seated a Socialist ruler and Big Business helped.

The bloom is off the Bambi. I read this morning that even the odious Hollywood lib Barbara Streisand and her odious Hollywood lib husband, James Brolin, were criticizing the Obama adminstration’s attitude towards business. Maybe they suddenly realized that movies are a business.

It's obvious that not all of the private sector's implosion can be blamed on Obama. How the head of any large business would vote for this guy is baffling, let alone "most" of them.

Obama bamboozled thousands with his baritone voice telling all who swooned at his feet that this was a new day. He told the truth.....a new day of economic melt down....trillions fleeced from the coffers that will in part help the Obama's keep their thrones....a slush fund if you will, that is not in view or ever will be.

The Obama Czars and his UNIONS and his cronies will Chicago style, help him keep his job.

In case you still don't recognize what a Bad person Obama is - he is mobbed up with Chicago Mafia and the George Soros invisible Samir Shabazz's of the world who are hard at work right out in the open overthrowing your country.....is there no one courageous enough to stop him? Impeachment is the remedy.

The American idiot class now has the government they deserve.

So, when will 'they' look at the anti-Christian, anti-white, anti-Constitution and anti-liberty aspects?

Barack Hussien Obama is a marxist. He is anti-business, anti-free market, anti-liberty and anti-American. This is all part of his “fundamental change”.

On July 4th on my http://www.jeffhead.com web site, on the front page I posted the following which will remain there until this man is removed from office :

“Barack Hussein Obama, hear us, loyal Americans whose bloodlines run deep in this land, back to the founding & beyond, who have watered the ground of this nation & foreign soils to maintain our liberty & constitution: Molon Labe-Sic Semper Tyranus-De Oppresso Liber. Your Marxism shall not stand in this land, so help us God!” - Jeff Head, July 3. 2010

Given the huge bills recently passed by Congress whichin some cases included vague “work it out later” provisions, possibly some larger businesses are discovering that it is going to take much more money to be a favored player sitting at the table (and not on the menu) with this Chicago-style administration than they ever imagined it would require, and so now they are starting to complain earnestly. I don’t hear patriotism in this new chorus. These people simply sound as though they did not expect to wind up in the same leaking boat with the rest of us.

Ya think reporters and tv talking heads will ever realize that newspapers and broadcasting outfits are businesses?

All of the Democrats are anti buisness. If you want America to flourish again vote them all out in 2010 and 2012. If you can’t bring yourself to do that stay home!

A majority would be helpful to advance a cause for impeachment. It takes a party of one to defund the gangsters with a real Tea Party. I have never seen even that example of a mild (but real) resistance mentioned anywhere, any time. The internet opiate has us blogging out our frustrations, in lieu of actually doing anything.

These “captians” of major corporations and industry, despite their affiliations with the DemonRats, are still capitalists at their core. They have to be in order to be economically successful in business and personal development. So what I find amazing is that they apparently did not do their homework in checking Zero out.

They did not heed the warnings of other more conservative thinking capitalists and supported him. That they would support someone who would ultimately undermine the very free market system that enabled them to thrive and prosper I find very mind-boggling. You would think they would have been smarter than that.

Talk about not doing your due diligence.

Reminds me of “Sam Malone” when talking about fans booing. “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”

“How the head of any large business would vote for this guy is baffling”

It happens because we have transitioned from a free enterprise private economy,,, into a centrally planned economy, based upon government spending. Windmills, oil drilling, banking, manufacturing, real estate,, telecommunications, the internet, Farming, auto industry, Mining,,,, and the myriad of other small busniesses that depend upon the larger ones, all thrive on their relationship to government.

The path to business success today is to get special permits, franchise, or direct grant business from the US Government.

That is why they support guys like Obama.
