Obama's Milky Way ["Islamophilia of the Obama administration is... well beyond parody"]
American Spectator ^ | 07/08/10 | George Neumayr

Posted on 07/08/2010 7:16:52 AM PDT by KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle

Barack Obama is not a Muslim, said Hillary Clinton during the 2008 campaign, adding slyly, "as far as I know." Reeling from losses that followed this whispering campaign, Obama denied its implication and faked up an eager interest in Christianity. "I was sworn in with my hand on the family bible," he pouted.

But once safely ensconced in the presidency, he renewed his Islamophilia. Last year in Cairo, he tried to wow his audience by saying that he hails from "generations of Muslims" and that he had marinated for "several years" in Islamic Indonesia, where he "heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and at the fall of dusk."

By secularist standards, Obama's Islamophilia constitutes a blatant violation of Church and state. His presidency largely exists for the benefit of one religion, the only religion he appears to consider blameless and holy -- Islam, and not even its moderate variant.

He also spent a heck of a lot of time during the Islamic "Holy" month of Ramadan, 2009 on "convenient" vacation Golf tracking project

I wonder what he will do this fall?

Obama may be a good thing.

He may become so odious to the mass of Americans that they feel they need a political rebirth and overturn the entire present political system to replace it with one more in keeping with what the Fouding Fathers left us and intended in the Constitution.

Kind of like former rebellious know it all teenagers that discover in their 20’s & 30’s that their parents weren’t so stupid after all.

Of course, some never have enough “reality” hit them to come to this conclusion.

That’s been the goal of the left, to shelter people from this reality at the expense of those that have realized it.

Islam and Obama are a perfect match, since Obama is a big fan of the state controlling every facet of life, and islam is a ‘religion’ that controls every part of your life, politically and socially.

Question: If you take an oath by placing your hand on the Bible, and you do not believe in the Bible, is the oath "valid"?

For instance, devout muslim that he is, obama would have preferred to use the koran; and there was some mix-up about the oath as I remember, and he got "sworn in" later after the inaugeration ceremony. I don't remember the details though.

If just seems that the acting of swearing an oath should be based on something one believes in and holds scared, as without that, the oath could not be "sacred".

Of course, as we all know, NOTHING is sacred to obama, except maybe his own reflection in the mirror...and GOLF.

I saw how much that oath means to other people during my divorce. Taking that oath was an insult to me when I was the only person who actually tried to tell the truth.

We can only hope so, but this assumes that the average voter joe six pack will be smart enough to figure this out. There has been a dumbing down of America that there is still a large percentage of the population that thinks obama is doing a good job. Although we are hopeful that people will wake up, I seriously doubt it. This country is headed in the same direction as the roman empire. Obama is the result of the past 50 years of decline. He is just a narcissistic opportunist but the fact that he was even allowed into power in the first place is what should give people a reason to question how we ended up with such a person as POTUS.

The Islamophilia of the Obama administration at this point is well beyond the parodies of The Onion. This week NASA administrator Charles Bolden announced that the space program has adopted a new mission -- to serve as a self-esteem project for global Islam.

Bolden was clearly an affirmative action appointee and Obama's policy is to pick these docile idiots who will be grateful for their appointments and say whatever stupid thing he tells them to say.

I read another interesting article today that told me something about Kagan (the not too bright but very politically canny Supreme Court nominee) and Islam. She apparently is a big promoter of sharia, and was one of the people behind getting a pro-sharia institute into Harvard.

This never came out in the questioning. I thought Obama wanted her to appease the gay lobby, but I think we should look again: do we want a supporter of sharia on the US Supreme Court? It's all part of his Islamicization program.

“but the fact that he was even allowed into power in the first place is what should give people a reason to question how we ended up with such a person as POTUS”

MANY reasons - not necessarily connected with the American Public per se.

Start with George Bush II. George Bush I was an aweful President and no conservative. In many ways he was liberal light. He lost to Clinton, who was even worse than he was.

Clinton beat - WHO?? He neat George Bush I and Bob Dole. Dole was another political wimp and no conservative. He ran the worse poltical campaign I ever saw - until John McCain came along.

Obama wasn’t running against McCain as much as he was running against Bush II - the Herbert Hoover to Obama’s FDR.

So a lot as to do with the total political ineptitude and fecklessness of the GOP party leadership.

It also has a lot to do with the Marxist take over of the schools, colleges, mainstream media and churches, who presently control the spread of information in the popular media.

But they CAN be defeated. They lost out in nearly every Country they controlled once the people there realized how really inept any Marxist state is. It took some time for them to do so, but then they never had the history of political freedom we enjoy.

I think Americans will NOT in the immediate future, accept the kind of Marxism this bastard is intent upon inmposing on us. THAT is one of the reasons he wants to legalize the flood of invaders from third world countries which have overwhelmed America. THOSE people, having never experienced the kind of freedom most native Americans have enjoyed, would be FAR more amendable to a Marxist ideology.

Americans are starting to move, via the Tea Party groups. And THAT is the way to go right now. The GOP has the voting power and the party structure to effectuate a successful political opposition to the Democrats. The only thing lacking is the will to do so in the party leadership and career elected office holders. And THAT is why its ESSENTIAL for the Tea Party People to start recruiting disaffected independents, getting them registered as Republicans and get them to the polls in the primaries well ahead of next year’s primaries.

The main political obstacle to effectively foiling the Democrats are many entrenched GOP office holders and party leaders. They have to go.

Yes, I like your assessment of the situatuion. Once people have tasted freedom they will not be willing to accept a communist state. The marxists have control of the schools and the media. But people can still think for themselves. Hopefully there are enough people that are willing to act on their convictions. I really thought that the decline was inevitable but when I read your comments it actually made me feel a lot better. Although there will allways be that 20% or so that will blindly follow obama over a cliff most of the people will not follow him once they are able to see what’s going on.

And the jig would be up if we had one republican who would point this stuff out. During Ramadan the muslim is “out of the office”.

I still say we’d be better off re-electing democrats than re-electing rinos. We must rid this nation of the current “rockefeller-mccain republican” party.

Remember the American Revolution.

30% supported it, 30% were Tories and 30% wished the other 60% would just leave them alone.

At least 30% of Americans are ticked off enough at Obama at this point to do something about it. How our electoral process shakes out will determine just what that “somthing” is.

Perhaps, but we would be MUCH better off getting Tea Party Candidates NOMINATED in the primaries and knocking out the career political criminal office-holders who are sucking the lifeblood out of the GOP, and, by extension, America.
