Stay Alert..(Those promoting Sarah Palin as RNC chair may not have good motives)
me

Stay alert to those who are promoting the idea of Sarah Palin to replace Michael Steele at the RNC. This is an attempt to derail her nomination for the Presidency. There are some out there in the conservative blogosphere that believe the MSM line on Sarah Palin. When they promote the idea of her replacing Steele, they are really saying that she shouldn't run for President.

We may need to hit the nail hard with the strongest hammer we can find. Stuff her down their throats. But we are going to get her the nomination. She deserves the nomination. And then we can unite in time to take back the White House.

“Right on, Forty-Niner. Truth is, we surround the anti-Palinistas. She will be the 45th President of the US in 2012.”

That she will!

My guts tell me she will not only win the nomination but will take the election handily. She has been out front on ALL the issues, while you hear crickets from the rest of the so called candidates.

You'd think that the Palin critics on the board would have noticed that one glaring detail, and factored it into their analyses of her presidential aspirations.

While Sarah has been relentlessly attacking the Great Commie Usurper, there's been nothing but a chirp here and there from the rest of the major contenders.

The critics might also have factored in the fact that she has also single-handedly caused the Obama administration to shift their agenda, lose focus, back-pedal, or back down on a host of issues.

The rest of the contenders? Not so much.

On that one point alone, she has several times posted articles that took apart Obama & Company's goals and stated policy objectives so clearly and with such solid logic, that they were made to look like utter fools to the nation.

I'm sure that Bozo spends most of his Oval Office hours throwing darts at her pictures. He may as well enjoy it. It's the only effective attack he'll ever mount against her.

even at the most conservative forum online

What better place to come with their smiley conservative MASK. We all know who they are. Palin threads puts the laser light right through their mask.

Actually, in a way...Palin is ALREADY head of the RNC...the NEW RNC! The RINO’s just haven’t figured it out yet....she’s probably raised more money than Steele (I don’t know, however.)

I agree with your analysis for the most part but it’s typically stated as
Conservative, Liberal, Moderate and
Republican, Democrat, Independent.

Independent does not equal Moderate. Conservative Independents are a fairly large bloc.

This reminds me of what someone here on FR said not long ago.
“Sarah Palin is living rent free in Obozo’s head 24/7 LOL.

“You'd think that the Palin critics on the board would have noticed that one glaring detail, and factored it into their analyses of her presidential aspirations.”
I agree completely and makes me wonder of the mental capacity of some on this site.

Even many who were adults at that time have forgot how vicious it got.

I wasn't even voting Republican in those days, but I remember it well. The vicious attacks against Ronald Reagan by the Democrats was one of the first things that made me begin to question my political allegiance and to look toward the right.

Even though I voted Democrat at the time, I didn't hate Ronald Reagan like the Democrat party did. Frankly, I just couldn't relate to the level of nastiness that was hurled against him. He seemed like a good Joe to me.

It took me some time to put it all together, but eventually I realized exactly why the Dems hated the man so much. He represented their demise as a political party, and the end of their long-term agenda to remake America in the Socialist model.

Sarah Palin represents the exact same threat to them now. Where Ronald Reagan failed to root them out, she will succeed - and they know this.

I know that many independents are conservatives. I was referring to that squishy so-called middle who vacillate between right and left, Republican and Democrat, election to election.

LOL! Actually, you’re right! Steele gets the pay/perks and Sarah is doing the work without the title.

“This article raises a good point.”

There is no article. It is a vanity.

What do you mean “may not have good motives?”

Where’s the doubt?

Sarah Palin is already rebuilding the Republican party HER WAY.

The RBC chair can be a cherry position for someone else, but the position is currently filled by a man she has supported, thankyouverymuch.

What better place to come with their smiley conservative MASK. We all know who they are. Palin threads puts the laser light right through their mask.

You can always tell the deep cover operatives from the honestly skeptical posters.

Those who have ulterior motives or a covert political agenda repeat the Democrat slanders over and over, or they throw meaningless dirt at Palin, while the honestly skeptical will ask questions, and even concede a point here and there to you.

The real operatives won't answer or attempt to rebut anything you say about Palin, nor will they simply discuss her merits or perceived shortcomings with you. They just keep repeating the attack machine talking points.

I've gotten pretty good at spotting the operatives. I hope the management has, as well.

A majority of people will not vote for her.

But a majority of the Electoral College might.

Yeah, those folks are typically non-ideological. I agree that Palin would easily get the votes she needs from that group.

The media tries to convince Republicans that the squishy middle want a specific type of policy somewhere between Conservativism and Liberalism, and that when Republicans lose, it’s because Republicans have not catered to the policy preferences of the squishy middle. But the squishy middle does not really have policy preferences. There are some who have thought out ideologically moderate positions, but others who really don’t, and will vote based on things like “likeability”. I think that Palin has that likeability. It doesn’t matter how much Palin angers Liberals. Palin gets a lot of support from women, not all women, but women who likely would ordinarily fall within the squishy middle.

I think her book tours were a very good indication on the level of support she has. No one has ever topped that!

Friend, you are reading my mind. For the life of me, I can't fathom why it hasn't already been done.

"She is unelectable for the office of the President. A majority of people will not vote for her."

I totally agree. She's become more of a 'soap opera' than a serious presidential candidate. I know the bar was very much lowered by our current office holder, but we shouldn't use that as a starting point for what we consider to be 'presidential'. We desperately need someone like Reagan. Someone that can communicate, knows how America works, and can restore optimism.

As an incurable news junkie and hard-core political watcher, it's sometimes hard for me to step outside my normal world view and see how the not-so-tuned-in might look at Sarah Palin. I think you paint an accurate picture of that sort of viewpoint.

One of the key things you bring up is how women in general might respond to a Palin candidacy for president. It's easy to imagine most ordinary women seeing something of themselves in Sarah Palin. Her story is the story of every woman who has ever raised a family, supported a hard-working husband, balanced a family budget, attended their kids' baseball games, struggled with a small family business, or participated at any level of politics, from the PTA, to the national level.

She unabashedly loves her country, is hopeful for the future, believes in her countrymen, reveres the Founders, is genuinely religious, loyal, fair, and homespun. On top of that, she's one hell of an executive, and can play hardball with the slimiest of characters. She's got balls, and will spit in the eye of any lowlife scum who crosses her.

That's damn near perfect, in this world of terrible imperfection.

I can see how a great many women would respond positively to her running for the presidency.
