Stay Alert..(Those promoting Sarah Palin as RNC chair may not have good motives)

Stay alert to those who are promoting the idea of Sarah Palin to replace Michael Steele at the RNC. This is an attempt to derail her nomination for the Presidency. There are some out there in the conservative blogosphere that believe the MSM line on Sarah Palin. When they promote the idea of her replacing Steele, they are really saying that she shouldn't run for President.
We may need to hit the nail hard with the strongest hammer we can find. Stuff her down their throats. But we are going to get her the nomination. She deserves the nomination. And then we can unite in time to take back the White House.

Why on earth? Perhaps because most of the members of Free Republic are genuinely exited by Sarah Palin, and this question is of great interest to them.

Opinions? How many of those states that went blue for Obama are going back in the Red column if she is the nominee? The woman is a cliche machine with a whole lot of weaknesses that the media will crucify her on. The Independent voters will not embrace her. Now, if they decide to sit it out then maybe the 40% of the vote that the evangelicals seem to think is enough to win a national election might be enough but I doubt it.
If she is the best that the Repubs can do then prepare for 4 more years of Barry O

What this thread needs is some disclosure.
How about everyone so (lamely) bashing Palin, state clearly for all to see, who they believe would be good as POTUS.
Otherwise, it’s just termites, nibbling away.

Regardless of Palin’s political virtues or lack thereof, frontpaging Palin worshiping vanities is wise?

She’d be a fine chairman. But let’s be honest. To the extent these people are suggesting her for the job because they think any of the other guys are that much better of a presidential nominee, they’re mostly, if not entirely, kidding themselves.

So you do you support at this point?
Don’t worry, change your mind later if you want.
So? Who?
Duncan Hunter perhaps? How exactly, are (either) of the Hunters, that different from Governor Palin?
Seriously.

A leader - not a teleprompter reader!
Sarah Palin
Exclusively Represented by the Washington Speakers Bureau
Sarah Palin first made history on December 4, 2006 when she was sworn in as the first female governor of Alaska. In August 2008, Senator John McCain tapped Palin to serve as his vice-presidential running mate in his presidential campaign, making her the first woman to run on the Republican Party's presidential ticket.
In Alaska, her top priorities included fiscal restraint, limiting the size of government, resource development, education, equitable oil valuation as well as transportation and infrastructure development. Palin fought for ethics reform and transparency in government.
Palin has a long record of achievement and experience in public office. Prior to her election as Governor, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla City Council and two terms as the mayor of Wasilla. During her tenure, she reduced property tax levels while increasing services and made Wasilla a business-friendly environment, drawing in new industry.
Under her leadership as Governor, Alaska invested $5 billion in state savings, overhauled education funding and protected Alaska's natural resources. She created Alaska's Petroleum Systems Integrity Office to provide oversight and maintenance of oil and gas equipment, facilities and infrastructure and the Climate Change Subcabinet to prepare a climate change strategy for Alaska.
During Governor Palin's first year in office, three of her administration's major proposed pieces of legislation passedan overhaul of the state's ethics laws, a competitive process to construct a natural gas pipeline and a restructuring of Alaska's oil valuation formula.
Palin is past chair of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, a multistate government agency that promotes the conservation and efficient recovery of domestic oil and natural gas resources while protecting health, safety and the environment. She also served as chair of the National Governors Association (NGA) Natural Resources Committee, which was charged with pursuing legislation to ensure state needs are considered as federal policy is formulated in the areas of agriculture, energy, environmental protection and natural resource management.
Sarah Heath Palin arrived in Alaska with her family in 1964, when her parents came to teach school in Skagway. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications- Journalism from the University of Idaho in 1987.
She is married to Todd Palin, who is a lifelong Alaskan, worked as a production operator on the North Slope and a four-time champion of the Iron Dog, the world's longest snowmachine race. They have five children.
She is the author of Going Rogue: An American Life which is scheduled for release in November of 2009.
Re-elect President Palin in 2016! Has a nice ring to it - doesn't it?

She should be very able to regurgitate and defend the GOP talking points. She did a fine job of regurgitating and defending McCains claptrap. She deserves a medal. What hateful little thoughts. I'm sure you brighten the day wherever you go. Not.

Put up some candidates and we can discuss.
The only ones that I think are worth a damn are those willing to end the entitlement madness and restore some fiscal reality to our nation.

I like her alright but president? Mainstream lamos would never allow it. They have soiled her enough already.
- - - - - - -
So I guess that when they choose to pee all over our candidates, like they did with Reagan, and now Palin, they should just get their way.
Gov. Palin is the only prospective candidate that has been telling the truth to and about Obama. She is the only one who will oppose his policies and insist they be repealed. This is an election for the future of America, no time to be mainstream, compromising, or milk toast.
The next election will not be about us. It will be about him. If he is able to lie and get away with it and fool us again or if he is to be exposed for the socialist extremist that he is. Sarah Palin is not afraid to say the truth. Haven’t seen anyone else with that courage since Reagan.
To: misterrob
OK then.
Not sure why you don’t believe Governor Palin fits that bill, but I’ll start:
California Congressman Duncan Hunter. Who it turns out, will be of constitutionally qualifying age, before inauguration day, 2013. He’d be a good VP for Palin.
OK your turn.

If people don’t like her they don’t like. I can understand the principle, whether I agree or not. What I do NOT understand is: “She has been damaged too much by the media” being given as a reason to dismiss Palin.
What strong candidate WILL NOT be relentlessly attacked and smeared by the Ministry of Truth?
ANY strong candidate will be trashed will all of the left’s (dwindling) resources. Avoiding that trash storm is to allow THEM to pick OUR candidate.
