Stay alert to those who are promoting the idea of Sarah Palin to replace Michael Steele at the RNC. This is an attempt to derail her nomination for the Presidency. There are some out there in the conservative blogosphere that believe the MSM line on Sarah Palin. When they promote the idea of her replacing Steele, they are really saying that she shouldn't run for President.
We may need to hit the nail hard with the strongest hammer we can find. Stuff her down their throats. But we are going to get her the nomination. She deserves the nomination. And then we can unite in time to take back the White House.
My thoughts exactly.
Could be really interesting considering that the Dems might actually be running Hillary in 2012.
I was thinking Newt Gingrich would be good to run the RNC--conservative enough to keep most conservatives happy, and RINO-ish enough to keep the moderates in line. But, now, on second thought, I think I like your idea better.
Because (1) there is a little bit too much of the populist flavor in Palin for my liking, (2) I think she is identified as "that ditz played by Tina Fay" with a sufficiently large segment of independent voters that she can't win, and (3) I believe America is ready for a non-telegenic, green eyeshade wearing president rather than another dazzling-smile speechmaker.
Nevertheless, if Palin was the GOP nominee I would definitely vote for her in '12, unlike the last three elections when I voted third party rather than for the reach-across-the-aisle bulls--t of Dubya and McQueeg.
Obama should not be considered the standard by which everyone with more experience is qualified to be President.
Exited?
LOL
OTOH, if BO becomes an election liability, the Dems will ditch him pronto.

Has anybody seen . . .
My old friend Barack?
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
So you aren’t jazzed up over another cheesy little vanity post by “the enforcer” more than 2 years before the 2012 elections?
Neither am I, I just got over a sore throat. Gulp!
One would think we had to make a choice right now. Talk about making people around here look like kooks. LOL
I’m totally fine with the idea of Palin running for the nomination. It’s just that there are several other Republicans I would prefer. If she secures the nomination she’s got my vote in the general, but I think I will not be voting for the winner.
Figures you’d like these inane worship vanities.
I’m to the point of hoping she doesn’t run or does run and get crushed in the primary. Just to see the moronic ‘conservative’ worshippers here pick some RINO as the new great white dope, just ‘cause Precious said so.
Jest remember: Fear the Fred!
Funny, they used to say that about Reagan.
I wonder how that turned out?
Sarah Palin isn’t even in the same league as the Gipper, his son’s kneejerk babbling notwithstanding.
The difference, of course, is that opinions don't have...well, you know.
That was the argument and campaign theme for 2008.
Not 2012, when he will have been in the office for four years.
You mean like a majority of people wouldn’t vote for a muslim with no real world experience?
;-)
Address that, if you can...and remember that Reagan first ran for prez in 1976.
Those of us who were politically aware during that time have a viewpoint not shaped by media bias.
” You mean like a majority of people wouldnt vote for a muslim with no real world experience? “
The entire MSM sold Obama as a Christian who worshipped in a Christian black church for over 20 years, and whose children were baptized Christians.
” Funny, they used to say that about Reagan.
I wonder how that turned out? “
Did Reagan have 60% of the public polls state that they would never vote for him ? NO.
