Seriously: is Bill Richardson trying to wreck John McCain?
Ask yourself: what would be the one thing most likely to undermine McCain with Arizona Republican Senate primary voters? Surely it would be the possibility that if re-elected, born-again immigration hawk McCain would revert to the squishiness that led him to collaborate with Ted Kennedy on a "path to citizenship" for illegals. Yet on this evening's Ed Show, that's exactly what the New Mexico governor—twice—imagined McCain might do.

I would agree, but I researched the situation, and it looks like the Dems are barely fielding a candidate. So whoever wins the GOP primary will be the overwhelming favorite to win the seat. Which leads me to wonder whether Richardson was simply offering his honest opinion that McCain is likely to flip-flop back to his pro-illegal position, or if for some reason Richardson has a beef with McCain and was trying to undermine him.
McCain the squish for Democrats. Richardson has got McCain pegged.

I wish we could put off our primary for another year. If Juan wins the primary, he’ll be back to pushing amnesty, tax and crap and globull warming. Unfortunately, his ads are kicking J.D.’s ass right now. Juan never treated Barry, his messiah like this during the presidential campaign. Juan might have a soft spot for Barry and the ‘RATS but he sure does hate Republicans and conservatives. We’re embarrassing him right now by causing him to swerve to the right for the election.
I think I have my husband now convinced that McCain is worthless! Thank you Ed Schultz! He made is clear that McCain is nothing but a gift to the demonrats (sic).
Sounds like Bill Richardson thinks J.D. would be easier to beat in the General Election, so he’s trying to help that along.
Then donate to JD and tell everyone you know to donate to JD.
Well then he’s wrong, whoever wins the primary in the GOP will win the general.
