CLEVELAND (AP) -- In a campaign stop for a nominee for U.S. Senate, Vice President Joe Biden said Wednesday that Democrats may be vulnerable in the summer but voters will look at contrasts in the fall.
"This is not about the next election," Biden told about 200 people at a fundraising lunch for Democrat Lee Fisher at the Great Lakes Science Center. "This is about the next generation."
Biden, noting the science center overlooking Lake Erie, also said "Republicans don't believe in science.

Embarrassingly there is a segment who really don’t. Look not only in any evolution thread, but also in topics of other science fields. I’ve seen even cut and dried geology threads challenged because of Al Gore, global warming, and “grants”.
This segment gives Biden and his ilk the ammunition they need to paint us all as ignorant mouth-breathing yahoos.

They call you a "global warming denier" on par with a Holocaust denier (as said by Sir Paul McCartney and others) or a "traitor" (as said by Robert Kennedy Jr.).
