This disaster has been compounded exponentially by Obama, but will he ever be held to account for it? I don’t even see the GOP pressuring this idiot over the oil debacle.
Obama can do whatever he wants, including destroying the SE USA, no one is going to do a damned thing about it, especially not the GOP.

This article is based on the false premise that Obama wants to ameliorate the Deepwater Horizon crisis.
This is a false premise.
Obama believes that allowing the crisis to reach biblical proportions will allow him to implement more draconian totalitarian measures.
He may be correct.

This worse than Katrina, economically speaking, and worse than any other man-made disaster I can think of. The Gulf of Mexico will take centuries to recover from this mess. If they don’t stop it soon, it may never recover in a millennium..................

The EPA will come down hard on people building firebreaks in California because an endangered mouse might be living in the brush, but how many species will become extinct while Obama golfs with absolutely no repercussions? Even those that do survive will be reduced in numbers and thus more endagered than before, giving the EPA more control over their remaining habitat... hmmm, maybe he does have a plan other than how to get around that dogleg on hole 11.

For some reason Obozo either doesn’t believe all of this ineptitude will be held agasinst him (in which case he is stupid). Or he doesn’t care because he has something up his sleeve (in which case he is devious and stupid).

The author says exactly what I say about that ugly saboteur in the White House. Who talks a big fancy (sustainable sustainable sustainable) eco-game about global warming but is an EPIC FAIL on simple common sense preventative measures in the Gulf such as bringing in the best skimmers and building Bobby Jindal’s sand berms
This is proof that these Democrat maggots want cap and trade only for a power garb and taxation. Real ecology on the Gulf and preservation of ultra sensitive estuaries they could care less about. They are barbarians

I read over at The Oil Drum that the dispersant being used Corexit 9500 was banned in the UK over 10 years ago and Spain has also banned it but unsure of when. It was banned due to both human and animal sicknesses.

We needed the extra skimmers before the first Hurricane entered the Gulf. Would have made all the difference in the world and time was a critical factor. Alex is moving the oil slicks into the MS/AL/Panhandle coastlines. And booms are not stopping the oil now due to high waves.
Oil intrusion reaches Long Beach Harbor (MS)
The Long Beach Harbor is surrounded with hundreds of yards of orange, protective boom. But that boom is virtually useless in the strong winds and stirred-up surf. "Five thousand feet wrapped around the harbor. And it either went over the top or underneath, but somehow it made it through it," said White.
"We knew it was coming. It's just sad to see it come. There's nothing you can do. You know, I don't know how you can stop it. But we tried. And we saw what happened," said White.

observations regarding EPA rules to oil spills, which someone should have been reading in the White House months ago: Yep, Obowma should have read the EPA oil spill emergency plan Contain the spill at the well, time is of the utmost urgency WRONG. Rules are for the little people /s

Mr. Obama let his big oil donator try and cover up their mistake instead of pushing them aside and taking control of the disaster...Wait a minute!
I distinctly heard Diane Sawyer last night claim BP was a heavy Repub contributor. /s
