Before the Senate Judiciary Committee a short time ago, Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan appeared reluctant to admit that she wrote a 1996 Clinton White House memo aimed at altering a key medical group’s opinion of whether partial birth abortion is medically necessary. The memo, reported yesterday by National Review, has caused a stir in conservative circles because it appeared that Kagan, then a White House policy aide, put words in the medical group’s mouth in order to soften its position on the controversial procedure. But when Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch brought the subject up with Kagan, he had a hard time getting her to admit that she did, in fact, write the document in question.

Kagan evades many questions. The interesting point is that the Senators don’t do a follow up to get the answer.
How hard can it be to ask the question. Did you write the memo or not?
Because they don't want to know. They ALL want to get zero's second Manchurian Candidate on the SCOTUS.

This is the newly codified MO of the Leftist starting with Obama: Evade any vetting, obscure past histories, obfuscate and confound those who try to get at the truth.
Nothing “slick” about Kagan. She’s just refusing to answer, and will be confirmed anyway.
You know, abortion supporters aren’t really “in it” to make sure more babies die in the future,
they’re in it to justify a decision they’ve made in the past,
and to make sure there’s no indication in law or society that what they did was MURDER.
Hmmm, helping the medical group express its true opinion. That is eerily reminiscent of then-lawyer Janet Napolitano “refreshing” the memory of “witness” “Judge” Hoertsner who, during her deposition, had accidentally told the truth which undermined the story of Anita Hill. After consultation with Napolitano, Hoertsner’s altered testimony no longer conflicted with Hill’s lies.
My thoughts, exactly, arrogant and condescending. Makes me think of her master. And to me she sounds like Robert Reich on heliuim when she speaks.
