Following in others' grand tradition of demonstrating gaps in knowledge while addressing a university, Sarah Palin told a crowd at a fundraiser at California State University in Stanislaus last weekend that Ronald Reagan, personal hero and inspiration, was a California college graduate. She told the cheering crowd: "This is Reagan country, and perhaps it was destiny that the man who went to California's Eureka College would become so woven within and interlinked to the Golden State."
There's just one problem here: Reagan went to Eureka College in Illinois from 1928 to 1932, the Alaska Dispatch reports. He didn't move to California until five years after his graduation.

This should never have happened. That being said, the press allows Obama and Biden so many gaffs that it’s rather comical to even see Palin’s mentioned.
She doesn’t hold public office right now. What difference does it make?

The Left is destroying this country at an alarming rate. It’s great to see real leaders like Governors Sarah Palin and Jan Brewer standing up to them. The hatred and malicious behavior of left wingers knows no bounds or reason. The murderer/friend of Barry Bill Ayers is welcomed at college campuses by left wingers, yet they seem to have a problem with Gov. Sarah Palin!
Everywhere she goes, Governor Sarah Palin gets in people’s heads. She has the “it” factor attracting major attention from liberals and conservatives. She is brilliantly conducting her campaign for president in 2012 going around the country attracting followers by the millions. The candidates she is endorsing will probably all win in 2010 and that will be her springboard to launch her successful presidential bid. I will personally raise over $2 million dollars for her, should she run. Think about that!

Sarah is unfairly held to a higher standard then the typical MSM approved dem (Clinton,Biden,Obama,etc.)
The only excuse for this mishap is failure to pay attention to details.
I have no doubt Sarah will take the appropiate steps to ensure this doesn't happen again.
