If the Emperor Claudius hadn't gotten the notion to conquer Britain, they could have been living a happy life...and not paying any taxes to Caesar.
From the article: “Measurements of their bones show all the babies died at around 40 weeks gestation, suggesting very soon after birth. If they had died from natural causes, they would have been different ages.”
I was 9 lb 10 oz. My first born was 5 lb. 5 oz...We were both full term.
That is why islamic families are outnumbering westerners eight to one. No punative divorce laws in sharia law; the very same ones that make a western man think twice about marrying and pro-creating.
Until the family court laws in the western world wake up and smell the failed “pro feminazi” agenda of the past 40 years (aka woman=good man=bad) we will all be on our prayer mats facing east. Then where will N.O.W. be?????!!
There was little knowledge of the birth process and no pre-natal care in those days so I imagine if anything went wrong the baby didn’t make it and the rate of deaths at or near birth was likely quite high. I wonder why those studying this find are so sure the infants were murdered? The scenerio of this being a brothel with babies murdered is possible but they may be jumping to that conclusion.
They will be either DEAD or working in one of the “unofficial” official state brothels...Like someone once told me the only thing worse than WAR is LOSING a War....
What have you read from modern liberals that shows they have selectively ignored that fact?
Take this website for instance:
http://www.britainexpress.com/History/Celtic_Britain.htm
It completely glosses over their culture of human sacrifice and dismisses it as basically roman propaganda, despite archeological evidence such as the Lindow Bog Man and the discover of a mass grave of headless skeletons in Alveston, amongst other things, supporting Roman sources...
As the story notes:
Measurements of their bones show all the babies died at around 40 weeks gestation, suggesting very soon after birth. If they had died from natural causes, they would have been different ages.
An archeologist/linguist professor friend of mine, asserts that virtually all pagan civilizations practiced some form of infanticide and/or religious human sacrifice.
In spite of PC claims to the contrary, life really was a lot more nasty before Judaism & Christianity came into the world...

The Romans also practiced human sacrificed in their Monarchical and early Republican days, but they had outgrown it by the time they invaded Britain under Claudius....
I read that, but if they were stillborn, or had major birth defects they still would have died at about 40 weeks- ahhh.. who knows.
