WASHINGTON The Obama administration is saying that the sinking of a South Korean warship blamed on North Korea was not terrorism, and not enough by itself to put the Pyongyang back on a U.S. terror blacklist.
The State Department said Monday that the March sinking of the frigate Cheonan was a "provocative action" and a violation of the truce that ended the Korean war. But it added that the sinking by a reported North Korean torpedo strike was the act of one state's military against another.

What would Barry call it if they nuked Seoul? An unfortunate escalation of rhetoric?

This comes in the wake of the North's implication it was making a hydrogen bomb. Surrender!!
One way of looking at 9/11 is that it was a legitimate expression on Islamic Jihad. One and a third billion people see it this way. They are enemies of America but we can't say so. By the same twisted thought process, North Korea heroically struck a blow for justice against the South Korean puppets of America.
I spout all this garbage because it is consistent with Progressive and academic beliefs right her in the USA.

"I suppose that Iran is not in the list also because ?wiping out Israel from the map? is not enough, right?"
Actually, after everything Obama has done to run interference for Iran and weaken Israel, he might receive a 12th Imam medal from Ahmadinejhad.

He’s right, terrorism is something done a non-state actor. This was a state, so doesn’t it count as an act of war?

“No, not an act of terrorism, but clearly an act of war and a violation of the armistice. It should have been met with swift and decisive military force. Instead, the feckless reaction of South Korea and her allies only emboldens the NORKS.”
