Vice President Joe Biden gave a stark assessment of the economy today, telling an audience of supporters, "there's no possibility to restore 8 million jobs lost in the Great Recession."
Appearing at a fundraiser with Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wisc.) in Milwaukee, the vice president remarked that by the time he and President Obama took office in 2008, the gross domestic product had shrunk and hundreds of thousands of jobs had been lost.
"We inherited a godawful mess," he said, adding there was "no way to regenerate $3 trillion that was lost. Not misplaced, lost."

Precisely, its a confidence game. No one has confidence in the current leadership.
Who wants to invest in a world of uncertainty. Then this is aggravated. made everso more uncertain by sucking up the amnesty votes and further diluting American job opportunities.
Total fiscal/ economic irresponsibility!
The Obama team asked themselves who it was in America that could make Barack look sane and competent by comparison.
There was only one possible answer: Joe Biden.
Nope. Biden just makes O’bonghit look like an insane idiot who is angrier. And more dishonest.

From “Yes we can!” to, “No we can’t!” in record time.
Fomenting a little class warfare is always a good thing. How about some benefits for illegals, now that 8 million are up the creek?

You promised!
what were you elected for then? useless bunch!
The Democrats picked Plugs Biden because they needed a real retarded kid to make Obama look good.
The godawful mess that Obama/Biden 'inherited' was largely created by Obama/Biden and their Democrat buds in the last two years of Bush's Presidency. The deficits had gone down for the previous four years, even taking into account the fact that the Republicans had joined in the spending free-for-all.
The deficit that Obama 'inherited' was nothing near the $3 trillion deficit HE and his Democrat Congress created during his first year in office.
Great graphic. Thanks!
Until the Republicans change the entire Premise by showing the American People that all these problems started the day that Pelosi and Reid took over in JANUARY 2007, the Democrats can ride the Blame Bush bus all the way to the polls.
The idea that Obummer still has an approval rating in the middle 40’s would normally amaze me, but it only proves that the public is still swayed by the Democrat blame Bush mantra. That has to change before the November elections or things will go from bad to worse for the Conservative movement.
I cannot join the “wait until November” crowd simply because I have lost faith in the intelligence of the Electorate. The Liberalism infesting the Media has shown its handiwork and the Country is suffering for it.
The new version of put on your sweaters and turn down the thermostat
So much for the “Summer of Recovery.”
“Great Recession”, huh? And this is coming from the party that spent eight years claiming we were in the “worst economy in forty years’. Apparently the “worst economy” produced or saved eight million more jobs than Joe’s buddies have.
That admission that the jobs Joe and Bambi cost us are gone for good should make for an interesting “dialog” at the weekly Joe/Bambi private lunch. I’m not sure that part was on the talking points he was given.
Here's an editorial (also posted at FR) I wrote a while back that proves that very case. And here's the ultimate take-away graphic to share with your liberal "Bush Lied Everything Died!" friends:
“Vice President Joe Biden gave a stark assessment of the economy today, telling an audience of supporters, “there’s no possibility to restore 8 million jobs lost in the Great Recession.””
Just curious. When does the great recession turn into the great depression? 12 million jobs were lost then.
