Gen. Stanley McChrystal left the White House on Wednesday morning after meeting for approximately half an hour with President Barack Obama.

Obama is expected to make remarks on the situation in Afghanistan and McChrystal's fate at approximately 11:35 a.m., following a meeting with his war advisors. It's not clear whether McChrystal, a normal participant in those meetings, will return to the White House to participate.
Wow... That’s interesting. I had no idea Jared Polis was gay, and I’m usually pretty good at picking up the signs. Of course, when I met him he was running for a school board position in Colorado years ago, so he may not have been ‘openly gay’ at that time... Not that it really matters, just that it surprises me.

This may be the facilitation of Obama’s exit strategy.
How else could he get out of the terrible quagmire that is Afghanistan?
Obama is desperately trying to look like he’s ‘in charge’. It’s getting harder and harder for him as the days go by. Even the ‘left’ is dissing him now. The fact is, he is not ‘in charge’, he has no idea where the buck stops, and his childish games are SO not appreciated.

General McCrystal (retired) will be holding a news conference at 2pm EST. He will hold up Obama’s REAL original vault natural born birth certificate for all to see. This will be followed by a statement that the U.S. Supreme Court has the same document and will be declaring his former Commander-in-Chief a fraud and a criminal who knowingly committed high treason by lying that he was a natural born citizen and violating the U.S. Constitution. Federal law enforcement officers will, then, immediately take the One into custody as cameras roll.

Note to self. If I am ever involved in anything that normally requires the President to act quickly, be sure to criticize him just beforehand or immediately after. That way he’ll be sure to call me in to his office and take action. BP should have shat on Obama right away and gotten his attention. Otherwise, what’s in it for him? He seems to respond well to trying to clear his name/strategy, just not important things like millions of barrels of oil in the gulf, War Strategy, stealing from the “rich” to give to his allies for the vote!

No matter what some may say here, Stan’s a good man, and like a previous poster posted, the tier 1 shooters and SF types would prefer for hime to stay on - I certainly would want him too.
And remember - ROE comes from on high - McC. had them jammed down his throat.

General McChrystal asked in late Aug of 2009 or so for more troops. Obama ignored his request for months. He warns Obama that 'mission failure' if he does not get the troop increase. McChrystal also warned he would resign in September of 09 if his request is not fulfilled
General McChrystal goes public in October of last year because Obama is ignoring him. The Obama admin. (Kings Court) summons the General to Copenhagen, Denmark, which is played up in the press that Obama is angry about the General's words. The idiot Obama gives a ten minute audience where he was unprepared to talk war strategy (Photo Op), and I heard he barely knew who was the General.
Obama after he slow leaked the General's request for months, he leave his request short by about 20 thousand troops.
And you tell me you asses at PMSNBC who is the idiot is here? It is not McChrystal.
I haven't even said anything about the Obama Rules of Engagement (ROE) that are imposed on the troops that slow the war effort down and get our troops killed.
Did he say McCrystal “Acted stupidly.”?
