I read a business article some time ago stating that approximately 70% of athletes declare bankruptcy within 5 years of retirement.

Once again, a man with everything, fame, great wealth, a wife and four children; throws it all away.

Tiki is too big to fail. He needs a taxpayer bailout.

Wait a minute....NBC exercised the morals clause in Barber's contract? Jeez, what about the rest of the degenerates at the network? Are they all gonna shoved out the door, too?

So true. And throws it away for what was I’m sure empty sex. So sad. So selfish. This happened to me with my ex who’s a surgeon. Now my daughter has no father, a broken family, & I’m all alone trying to work while raising a kid. And he’s not even with the woman anymore. What pisses me off are these men who make families & fell no sense of obligation to stick by their committments. Then I hear people like Ann Coulter (who I do love but she pissed me off) say that single mothes are the problem with our country. Really? I didn’t ask to be a single mother. Some loser man made it that way for me.

When will people learn?

And this is the guy the media was presenting as some incredibly smart and smooth guy who would be awesome on TV..enough to leave his football career?

And THEN he and Shockey leave and the team bonds together enough to win the Super Bowl. Barber slammed Eli Manning and then Eli goes on a run to the SB....karma exists.

Sad story. Used to see him on F&F a few years ago.

Hope he gets his act together for the sake of his children.
