I have posted before that we need narrative to capsulate the failure that is the Obama presidency. I nominate… “We need a President not a professor.”
From his inaction, to his lecturing tone, to his holier than thou attitude, to his belief that he has the answer, to his ideology over practicality approach, BHO has treated the American public like students in a class where he gets to make the rules. Even those that tend to agree with him are finding the problem with his professorial approach to leadership.
In other words, he just ain’t up to being president.
(Really. Who would hire him for ANY job?)

Too bad the rest of the media doesn’t have the nerve of Glenn Beck to tell the American Public the truth about this administration, this oil spill and more... for instance today Beck told his audience how all these oil rigs are now headed to Brazil - where they are drilling even deeper and Brazil is sinking billions into this project along with $900 million from George Soros and TWO BILLION from the Obama Administration...... so we are putting our people out of work in the gulf and these jobs will not be back any time soon and Obama’s friend Soros is using this to get even richer with Obama’s help.

He'd have to know something before he adopts the posture of teacher/professor. all Obama knows is socialism...and we don't need that.

Equating the word 'professorial' with him is a significant leap from plain old 'lecturer' (especially, one who got the position through favoritism/cronyism. To top it off, other members of his department said he wasn't a very good one at that.)
The more appropos word in this case is 'dictatorial'

0 was never a professor he was a failure as assistant lecturer, an unexceptional lawyer and a failed POtuS.

He’s almost as bad as CT Attorney General Blumenthal implying that he was in Vietnam during the war but really was stateside.

Think about the stereotype professor... some guy sitting in his ivory tower having never actually accomplished anything pompously teaching his students as though all knowledge flows through him and taking their admiration as proof he is better than others. Remind you of anyone?
Obama doesn’t know his place. I know my place. I am an adjunct college English instructor, and I never try to pass myself off as anything else. He is not and never was a law professor! It rankles me to hear the MSM parrot this lie.
I used to travel to Venezuela a lot. One of the things I remember in watching the news and following their current events in the early Chavez years was that most of the people in Ministry positions were University Professors.

I see your point. This may be true up to a point when things go well for him and he doesn’t get any flak. All of this nicety goes out the window and the ‘dictator’ mode starts to emerge. Overall, I’d say he’s in the spoiled brat stage where nothing is working for him. His diaper is full, and he’s being just what he is - a two-year old.
No professor uses a teleprompter...
