This is the moment a white American police officer punches a teenage black girl in the face after a dispute about how she and her friend crossed the road. Video footage of Officer Ian Walsh lashing out at the 17-year-old in Seattle has shocked the U.S.
The teenager reels backwards in shock from the blow before clutching her face while a bystander can be heard asking: ‘Are you serious?’
Police arrested the girl, Angel Rosenthal, and her friend, 19-year-old Marilyn Ellen Levias, both of whom have criminal records. Seattle Police chiefs have launched an investigation into the alleged assault after viewing the video footage. Civil rights activists are outraged and say the punch was an action of anger not self-defence. The incident comes weeks after another two Seattle officers seen kicking a Hispanic robbery suspect who later turned out to be innocent. James Kelly, who heads the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle group, said of the police: ‘Shame on you. The use of violence in the form of a full-blown fist to the face was wrong.
‘What the 17-year-old did was wrong,’ he told ABC News. ‘I'm not making any excuses for her, but two wrongs don't make a right.’ And a woman with whom the 17-year-old lives echoed his statements.
‘She's not a criminal,’ the woman, who would not give her name, said as she waited for a juvenile court hearing for the teen yesterday. ‘She ran into a situation that maybe wasn't right, but two wrongs don't make a right.’

If you watch the video, the girl grabs his arm while he’s trying to detain the other girl. Then the girl pushes him with both hands, knocking him back, and then she grabs at him again — that’s when he hits her, once, not all that hard apparently because she just takes a step back, and then he tries to detain HER while the first girl climbs on his back.
Frankly, if the 1st girl had instead grabbed his weapon, he could be a dead cop. The entire description of this video by the news is frankly false. In fact, the description should be “police officer attacked by teen, subdues her.”
“From what I saw: Failure to obey a peace officer, interfering with a peace officer, Resisting Arrest with violence, Two misdemeanors and a felony.”
None of that matters when dealing with minorities.

Too long! This will be delicious to watch! Ultimately, at the end of the day, the only solution to this country’s problems is a prolonged blood letting. No one in the history of man has defeated Communism at a ballot box; Communism has to be eradicated the old fashioned way.

Also, the punch is clearly NOT in anger, because he threw a single punch, then he grabbed her to detain her, and he ignored the other woman grabbing him around the neck.
If he was angry, he would have lashed out with more punches.
Of course it matters. One lone white cop with a small crowd of angry blacks and 2 of them resisting arrest? It could have easily escalated. Yeah. It matters.

You should see what it’s like when that really happens.

Remember that in England, you can get arrested for defending yourself if attacked by a burglar in your own home.
This is Seattle; the officer will get a permanent desk job and the assailant (the girl) will get a nice settlement check and an apology.
I think poor black liberals know they can resist arrest and it will be turned into a racial incident. They will become famous and maybe make some money out of the deal. One day Cops will simply refuse to enforce laws against them. Then we will have true equality.
The Officer was rather restrained from what is shown in the video. He left himself in a vulnerable position with that crowd while he physically struggled to arrest the one teen. That was a pepper spray or taser scenario if I ever saw one.
I would of pulled out my gun and told everyone nearby to get the hell on the ground while I called for backup.
I thought he was restrained too in how long it took him to get the smaller gal under control.
In one video I saw it had been edited to only show the punch, and not the interference and shoving by the larger gal. At least this viodeo shows what led up to it. And at least one of the spectators had enough sense to try to keep the larger girl from interfering.
The officer had stopped to cite a person who had jaywalked (it's a major intersection with a pedestrian overpass because of its size and danger - a pair of 5 lane arterials intersecting) and these two youts simply jaywalked as well, right in front of the officer as he's citing someone for that very action. So he called them over to cite as well (a $56 ticket). When one starts to walk away, it all went south.
Next time you're pulled over for speeding or blowing a red light, let the cop tell you what you did wrong, then start to drive away. You'll find yourself in a world of hurt. Same basic thing here.
As far as the illegal alien, they'll get busted too - Seattle is tough on drunk driving! But he won't get deported or even reported, because we're a "sanctuary city" you know...
