The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20 (see trends).
Forty-eight percent (48%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 75% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 12% Strongly Approve and 52% Strongly Disapprove.

Not yet. The sampling that went into this poll would have been finished before Zero's speech last night. Expect his numbers to go even lower once response to the speech begins to be measured in subsequent days.

If these figures are truly a representative sample, it looks like there may be the beginning of some erosion in 0bamao’s “core constituency”.
It’s the Left screaming “Oh, sh**! He’s lost the magical power to mislead through oratory! We’re SCROOOOOOD!!!”
Either that or their extreme disappointment that he did not announce he was seizing BP and creating the Socialist Peoples Oil Collective of the USA.
Notice the Strongly Approve is holding steady, as it has since I’ve been watching it, at 24%. This has varied maybe one point on either side.
He should have skipped the Blessing of the Fleet speech.
