Just a little one, but it seems as though they’re popping up everywhere these days...
Well I’m much closer to Talkeetna than Anchorage is and I didn’t feel a thing.
That’s the way with these things...
Yep. And I consider myself fairly sensitive to these things. My wife on the other hand almost never feels the smaller ones and never believes me that there was one until I show her the AEIC page.
It’s not unusual for me to get a call from a family member across town - literally 2 miles away, “did you feel that?”
Ah....no.
I'll bet the Depends(tm) market is doing well from those that remember.
Prayers up for those folks. Alaska is the edge of human endurance. I spent a summer there. Winter? fergetaboutit. Earthquake? How tough does one place get?.

See, we have a different mind-set. My first words would be; "You heard that? 'Scuse me." But I'm the age where step-farting evidences itself.

LOL
I remember Alaska’s big one. That’s the first one I remember. I roost here along the White Wolf and San Andreas Faults, but got my first awakening from one waaaay up there. I think that it was in 1959?
