Kurt Cobain on the list? ROFL
I’m a bassist, and I play guitar better than he does/did. He was a joke.
Having a popular band and killing yourself shouldn’t get you onto a ‘best of’ list.....

I'm glad Rory Gallagher was in there.
WAAAAAY too low on the list, in my opinion though.

From their website:
“Check back each day this week, as we reveal 10 more of the greatest axe slingers in music history, with the Top 10 arriving on Friday morning.”
What a bunch of website/blog whores! We are supposed to check back for four weeks? No Thanks!

I haven’t looked at the list but I’m sure Eddy Shaver ain’t on it. Best guitar player I ever saw.

Glad to see Hendrix as #1.
He belongs there.
However, no mention of Bill Nelson. Which says the list makers are ignoramuses.

Actually Glen Campbell and that other country star(I just can’t remember his name)are among the best. They are real naturals.

What a load.
There some good guitarists on the list, but the order is whacked.

Kurt Cobain? Jack White at 13, please.
No Seve Vai, no Paul Gilbert, No Buckethead, No Mark Tremonti There's not a shredder on the list.
No Tommy Emmanuel? Good grief
Best guitarist no one has ever heard of, Doyle Bramhall (sp>). Check out his work on the Roger Waters "In The Flesh" tour DVD. He's insane.
Plus, I'd exchange Chuck Berry with Stevie Ray Vaughn. No way does Vaughn deserve to be out of the top 10.
