Fox News Channel host Geraldo Rivera said last night he will set up a legal defense fund for Diane Wilson, a co-founder of the terrorist support group Code Pink who was arrested last week for disrupting a Senate hearing in a protest about the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Wilson stood up at a hearing of the Senate Energy Committee and doused herself with simulated oil to protest the stance by Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) on the oil industry.
Rivera made the offer to set up a legal defense fund for Wilson last night when she appeared on his Fox News Channel show. Even though Code Pink put out a statement claiming responsibility for Wilson's protest, Rivera did not mention she was a co-founder of the terrorist support group.
Several years ago, Wilson was involved in a plot to kidnap then Attorney General Alberto Gonzales at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Diane Wilson comes over to talk about her morning at the Gonzales breakfast. She’s a former shrimper, an environmental activist and a fifth-generation resident of the tiny town of Seadrift, Tex.
“The plan was to handcuff myself to Gonzales,” Wilson says. But security came around asking for her ticket and she figured she’d get kicked out shortly, so under pretense of looking in her purse, she handcuffed herself to her chair.
“They started jerking me and I was jerking the chair between us,” she says. Finally, the handcuffs broke. Cheap pair, Wilson says. If she’d had her other handcuffs with her, that wouldn’t have happened.
Code Pink used to protest Fox News, but over the past few years Fox News has made Code Pink frequent guests on shows like the O'Reilly Factor.
Code Pink bills itself as being antiwar, but it funds terrorists like Hamas and works with state sponsors of terrorism against the United States, Israel and Iraq, however Fox News has never reported the real nature of Code Pink.

Yes, typically the Left is allowed to go totally off the deep-end toward Communism, including outright traitorous acts, and be considered at worst, edgily progressive.
Yet we on the right, espousing the (still) majority position of common-sense, bedrock principles, backed by the Constitution, are labeled as dangerous fringe radicals.

For example, did ANYONE on Fox ever suggest that the likes of Murtha, Kerry or Durbin should have been brought up on charges of treason?

How many co-founders do they have? I thought it was just Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamin. I started to post on DU a couple of years ago - because I was new - Medea Benjamin’s first post to me was: “F*^& You!” only she said it. That finished my day of posting there - but I made a point out of finding out who she...presents herself to be. I believe that anyone who displays such vitriol to a complete stranger is lonely and sexually frustrated. It is really rather sad...I sincerely think she should invest in a high quality vibrator. I’m sure it would improve her disposition, and the world would be a better place.

Who ever said that? Shepard Smith gets a tingle up jis leg over Obama too. Juan Williams supports Obama no matter what he says or does. Even some of the broads on Fox talk that left wing crap some times. Whenever Alan Colmes, Bob Beckel, Williams, Renaldo, and a few others come on I turn to another channel.

Let's start pressuring Fox every opportunity we get. It worked with Helen Thomas.....at the least, public pressure played a role.
Heck, I've been around here so long I remember when a long-running poll was taken on FR for the most obnoxious (un-American? unbearable? spinning? propagandist? lightweight? enemy-enabling? revolting? sheesh, I can't remember) TV news personality.

Golly! He’s all heart, isn’t he? An offer to set up? What a putz! At least Bill O’Reilly offered to pay the legal fees (to get to the USSC) for the father of the soldier whose funeral was protested by that whacky bunch out of KS and was hit with a fine for suing them.
