Swamp cooler?

Better known as an evaporative cooler...before residential air-conditioning, it was a contraption that would cool by blowing evaporated water vapor through the house, humid, but cool!

Not many in this area have A/C, it’s 99.9% swamp coolers. If you hookem up right yer OK. All the houses when built were hooked in at the water heater. That’s a definate humidity causer. Re-routed ours to the back outside faucet.
