I think you’re about right. The same goes for Whitman vs. Brown. This state is beyond saving (not that I really believe Meg and Carly would be saviors, just a marginal improvement on the status quo).
Will “pro-life” Senator wannabe Fiorino sign a pledge to not confirm pro-abortion judges or will she stick to her statement that abortion should not be a litmus test for Supreme Court picks?
I suspect the right is more motivated this year and while most don’t like Fiorina having Boxer back is far worse. Let them run all the polls they want and we’ll see just who shows up to vote this year.

It’s a tough one to win. To win it, Carly will have to do really well with independents and somehow energize Republicans to get a high GOP turnout. Boxer is not a very strong incumbent so she could lose this election by a close vote.

Unless she makes some large errors, I think she’ll win. Unfortunately, I think any R could beat Boxer this year, which is why it is a shame that the choice is between Boxer and Boxer-lite.
By the way, I find it hilarious that some of the ladies here were indignant that I compared Fiorina to Cruella DeVille claiming that it must have been intended covertly as an insensitive comment about Fiorina’s “chemo-hair”.
So, now it seems that “old-chemo hair” thinks that disparaging Boxer’s hair is fair comment.
Contrary to the oracular pronouncements of the defenders of Carly’s chemo-hair, my comment was directed at Fiorina’s personality, and I think it has been borne out. Why isn’t my in-box filled with apologies from the Carly “chemo-hair” brigade?
What a terrible race. One woman is pure evil and both are spectacularly incompetent.
I am sincerely surprised that it is this close. Carly has a real shot at it.
