I suspect the right is more motivated this year and while most don’t like Fiorina having Boxer back is far worse. Let them run all the polls they want and we’ll see just who shows up to vote this year.

High unemployment among democrats may cause lack of enthusiasm for Boxer and a low democrat turnout. So Carly could win this in a very close vote count. At least Carly knows something about business and economics and isn’t going to be easily duped about global warming by gubmint-funded scientists. She’s much better for the country than Boxer.

I hate to ruin your day, but year by year the polls are getting better. I heard the same thing before the 2008 election on this site. The polls are wrong. The polls are rigged. No, the polls were right on the money and they get better year by year. Now it's still early and things can change but remember that California is still a very Democratic state. There are over 1 million more registered Democrats than Republicans. And that's not a poll. We had a excellent chance with Campbell but the voters didn't see it that way. Neither Fiorina or DeVore polled well against Boxer. In fact DeVore did horrible. But Campbell won in the polls against Boxer! So what did we do? We put up the candidate who didn't win against Boxer. Brilliant! This is why many refer to the Republicans as the Stupid Party.
