We were discussing a "what if" scenario - if he admits to murdering Natalee and discloses the location of the body in Aruba to prove it as a bid to get back into the Aruban justice system
Well, he already took money from the FBI and has already admitted that he was there when Natalee Holloway died when hitting her head on a rock. In fact, he was supposed to get the remainder of the money (making it $250,000) when they found Holloway's body that he said was there).
So, I don't think he's going to admit that he murdered her, when he had the FBI all over him, took money from them, and said that she fell and hit her head on a rock.
And that's what the FBI's case is about -- for extortion. If they thought they had "murder" then they would have made the charge "murder". They didn't -- they made the charge "extortion".
I think he would admit to anything at this point to get out of Peru, even premeditated murder.
