I remember when old Pat Brown was Gov.
Reagan had to clean up after him.
Jerry Brown is a total loon.

Actually very honest, I expect a rebuke but the argument was lowering my level. I got sick of it and finally turned of the garage lights.

Yes but back in those days at least CA still had a fairly balanced legislature.. so Reagan could clean it up.

I’ve rarely seen FReepers referred to as “fools”, “retards”, and “idiots” in one thread and the poster not be penalized.

Though the Admins are certainly wiser than I.

McCain would suck as president but all we achieved with conservatives staying home and voting 3rd party, was to guarantee the election of a radical communist Muslim who has done more to ruin our nation and its economy than anyone the past 60 years. That is what we get when people like you stick rigidly to your principles.

Who voted for TARP? Oh yes, McCain and Obama.
Who wanted to close Gitmo? Oh yes, McCain and Obama.
Who voiced support for the LOST Treaty? Oh yes, McCain, I don't know if Obama was stupid enough to come out on it in favor.
Who voiced support for the International Criminal Court? Oh yes McCain.
Who wanted to implement comprehensive immigration reform? Oh yes, McCain and Obama.
Who favored the cancellation of our F-22 program? Oh yes, McCain and Obama.
Who favored the cancellation of one of our missile defense systems? Oh yes, McCain and Obama.
Who favored the severe reduction of our Nuclear weapons? Oh yes, McCain and Obama.
Who joined George Soros to set up a political entity? John McCain.

You can go down the line on twenty to thirty items, perhaps more, and John McCain is Barack Obama on each of them.

And you think I'm the problem facing this nation, because I wouldn't vote for him.

Bud, if you think I'm an idiot, I'm going to have to tell you thank God. With your moral compass being what it is, I would be incredibly insulted if we were in agreement.

Often times of late speaking the truth can have the same effect.

And saying things that the mods don't like gets you closer to zot.

And by your reasoning, Rubio should have dropped out and endorsed Charlie Crisp, and Sharron Angle should have dropped out and endorsed Sue Lowden. Hell, why have a race at all? Underdogs should all just bow to the party establishment’s annointed candidates. Letting the people decide on election day is so messy and antiquated, isn’t it?
Just ask 0bama and Spectre.

Bad news for the GOP. What election results would have been good news for the GOP?

Did DeVore have a chance of a snowball in hell against Boxer?

No wonder the state is in such crappy shape - many republicans can’t seem to recognize a conservative candidate from a RINO when they see one.

No the reason the state is in such Crappy shape is that there are so few Republicans.

Ronald Reagan couldn't win in California today.

I just don’t know about this one. I guess Boxer needs to be defeated. But replacement by a RINO is not a big difference I guess.

You guess WRONG. Any one of the 3 Republican Candidates would be a huge improvement over Boxer.

Boxer is going to rip the Rinette to shreds. But once again, the RINO party deserves it. Just like nominating a dumb bastard like McCain, who got trounced by a flaming communist.

So DeVore would have done better? Get real. DeVore would have been slaughtered against Boxer. The best choice against Boxer would have been Campbell because he appeals to moderates and even many Democrats. The second best chance against Boxer is Fiorina. DeVore would have had no chance at all.

Don’t call people names, it makes you look small.
The voters spoke, accept that. Its a great thing when voters vote, it should make you proud to be an American

pissant is small, at lease mentally. He always has the dumbest comments. He may even be a plant.

Baby steps.

The left understands incrementalism and uses it well.

So many on the right are too “principled” to understand the benefits of incrementalism.

Look how far it's gotten the left.

YES, HAVING A RINO WITH AN R IS A BIG DIFFERENCE. It is one more Senate seat with an R toward repeal of Obamacare.

Understood so long as she actually votes against it.

Well this is Kalifornia, and if you read my post carefully, I said I don't know about this one.

I look at past behavior and Carly Fiorina's character in regards to her activity at HP makes me question her integrity. But your opinion is noted.

And Carly, and Brian Valentine and the higher-ups at Microsoft ("Think India! Two for the Price of One!"); and Jack "Neutron" Welch, and Indian nationalists ("thought leaders") like the late, C.K. Prahalad, and Bill Clinton, have been leading the charge to hollow out the United States and transfer the basic industry and means of production overseas.

If offshoring is so good for the consumer, why are sweatshop-made sneakers still over $100/pair? And don't tell me about "maximizing profits for the shareholders" either, since there's such a thing as competition based on price and market share as well.

Cheers!

If they can keep the RINOs in line (hence the name RINO!!)

Remember Amnesty? Remember the Gang of 14?

Not all the RINOs are reliable.

Cheers!

What a shame. This election has devolved into voting for “really bad or really, really bad.”
