~LOL~ don’t you read what you write? or have you ever run a company? YES! She has a staff.. who hires the staff in a startup? The person starting the company!!!! The fact is she accomplished something pretty darned impressive... and I “hope” she is able to do the same for the State of California..., I actually am pulling for her to surprise everyone... just as Christie has been a pleasant surprise.

Meg is Arnie’s third term.

Pete Wilson was her handler. All her talking points were the same that they used when they pushed the Austrian on the electorate as a “conservative.” And now with Prop 14 passing, you can kiss conservatism goodbye in California government. Meg and her VC cronies have spent their way into the royal kingdom — a sad day for California, IMO.

BTW, Meg did not start eBay.

I believe she came aboard a company already existing.

She hit the door at the perfect time, with an entity like E-Bay being needed to facilitate online purchases and trade.

Was she the only reason why it prospered? Frankly, I think a monkey that had been handling a tin cup prior to joining E-Bay may have actually done about as good a job.

The thing took off because it filled a void, but it wasn’t her brain child.

Correct me if I’m wrong, and I’ll admit it. I am not convinced I’m all that far off base.
