I believe she came aboard a company already existing.
She hit the door at the perfect time, with an entity like E-Bay being needed to facilitate online purchases and trade.
Was she the only reason why it prospered? Frankly, I think a monkey that had been handling a tin cup prior to joining E-Bay may have actually done about as good a job.
The thing took off because it filled a void, but it wasn’t her brain child.
Correct me if I’m wrong, and I’ll admit it. I am not convinced I’m all that far off base.
Actually it was her and a man who went to school here in Lake Havasu..., but that said.. if it was so damned easy then why didn’t you do it, too...
