The Netanyahu governments attitude to the United States shows it is waiting for President [Sarah] Palin, an Obama official reportedly told Peter Beinart, writing for the Atlantic Monthly news site. Palin was the Republican candidate for vice president two years ago and is considered a front-running candidate for the next presidential election in 2012.
As an Obama official once told me about the Netanyahu team, with amazement, these guys are actually waiting for President Palin, wrote Beinart, a senior political writer for The Daily Beast and associate professor of journalism and political science at City University of New York.
In a critical article noting that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and senior government officials preach to the chorus of right-wing and Christian fundamentalist groups in the United States,

I believe we are often smart, but not wise.
Einstein, for example.
Oppenheimer, for another.
Teller was smart and wise.
May it happen as you project!
As I sit here in CA, I wonder what our elections will produce today.
Yeah, I think we could see glimmers of conservative candidates getting oomph behind them...but glimmers ain’t electoral victories. Not wanting to seem pessimistic, you understand.
I just think the greatest odds are that we see maybe 20% of elections swing conservative-ish, with good showings but disappointing results in most contests. It is hard for me, personally, to escape the bubble I am in, this liberal cesspool called CA.
On the one hand, I’d like to see a conservative swing in poll results.
On the other hand, I absolutely do not see the existence of a mathematical schema that would cause CA to return to a functioning fiscal reality. I mean, the math doesn’t exist.
So in many ways, I’ve become a nihilist, and as I’ve said elsewhere, perhaps it would better to elect solidly democrat candidates to CA to ensure that the inevitable collapse happens faster, with greater certainty...with the idea that the faster the illness overtakes the system, the faster it can be healed.
She is the opponent the obots fear the most...must be something to it...

I haven’t read all the comments but you are missing the point here.
This is not about Israel waiting for Palin to be elected. Even if her possibilities were good, almost three years out no one plans on such an uncertainty.
This is an insult, the Netanyahu Government is implied, by an Obama stooge and a Leftist writer, to be living in some fantasy World divorced from reality looking for a deux ex machina.
See 68.
Well, I can talk Sarah Palin’s platform and policy all day long, but I ....ahem.... had no idea...no idea at all....
Agree.
As the posters at the Library used to advice: Reading is fundamental.
So is comprehension.
Or at least read a few lines past the headline.
It is up to us ! We need to clear a path for her. We need to create a new reality. She will have debates, she will have time to reintroduce herself to the American public.
In the mean time. Any Republican, or anyone in Republican establishment who stands in Sarah Palin’s way better leave a light on when they go to bed at night. Who knows who is digging through their trash and looking through their closets.
We need to clear the way for Sarah. It is up to us,
The Jews that voted for Odinga?
That's part of the problem. Sarah is the "best" candidate but the GOP isn't known as the stupid party for nothing. If I had to bet I'd bet on Romney getting the nomination because it is "his turn". And then Obamarx will be re-elected...
Agree with everything you said. And I hope we are both wrong.
So we can all sit back and let God handle the campaigning?
We can just coast and whatever happens just happens?
Since God thought Obama was the right choice shouldn't we just be happy with him for six more years?
Well Then..
Lets nominate Sarah Palin..
I sincerely hope there is a thick layer of sarcasm in your post.
Absolutely not.
I have been studying Saul Alinsky and the Thumpin for more than a year now.
If you want to win. You have to take the bull by the horns and then destroy it. You have to get downright nasty.
With the attacks on Sarah Palin in 2008 and 2009. And how very vew in the Republican party defended her. I think the only way to right that wrong is for her to succeed. In the establishment, A lot of people are going to be eating crow, some of them are going to be eating it in jail.
So am I. Sarah is perhaps but one of maybe three people I can vote for 2012.
Regan was not electable until he ran.
