Rossi gains edge over Murray in updated poll

Was it a post-publicity bump or a harbinger for the November election?

That's the question raised by the release Monday morning of updated results of a poll which shows Dino Rossi edging out Sen. Patty Murray among the most recent survey of registered voters.

According to The Washington Poll, conducted annually by the University of Washington, registered Washington voters who were polled during the week of May 24 -- when Rossi finally made official his widely rumored candidacy for the U.S. Senate -- preferred Rossi over Murray 42 percent to 39 percent.

This is very good news. Hopefully, Rossi’s surge will continue.

This poll does not reflect homeless voters living at DNC headquarters so Murray is, technically, still well ahead.

I sure hope so. He needs to overcome a huge and crooked ballot-stuffing machine though, so it’s going to be tough.

Sounds like Seattle is going to have to count their votes 10-20 times to get the win??

Pray for America

Holy Cow. If you’re talking Murry losing (I know, long way off) and if Boxer can be beaten, maybe control of the senate is NOT that far off.

Murray and her ilk have destroyed our Country. People may finally get the picture this November.

I’d love to see Rossi actually win one of these things. I think this is it - if he loses this time, he should vanish into private life.

The poli sci prof they quoted sounded like he was making a call to arms to all the King County lefties to get the election fraud machine rolling. Also, the Seattle Times was encouraged to step up and start trashing Rossi at every opportunity. Hopefully, Rossi may still win.

Murray always looks like a very stupid liberal: specifically, like a limpet.

I’m a fan of Clint Didier, but Rossi has a strong political machine and no shortage of financing. I do think he has the better chance of taking Murry out in November. The Primary should do a great service for Didier though if he wants to return in 2012 to take out Cantwell.

Sorry, but Murray is in a safe seat. The leftists of Seattle will see to it that she wins. Without Seattle, Rossi would win in a landslide.

Ugh! I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

All kidding aside, Murray has raised constituent services to the level of the sun and moon. If you've got problem that she can make press with, you're in luck. She simply works it like a two-bit... err... maybe I shouldn't go there. In a normal election year, there wouldn't be a chance in Gahenna of ousting her. But this year I'm just thrilled that we have at a chance to get rid of this mom and her stinky tennis shoes.
