"It was a noisy night here across southern Michigan." I have family in NW Ohio who told me that the Toledo area got hit pretty hard. I guess a local high school was destroyed.

We got clobbered Friday night and lost power about 8:30 up here in Waterloo Twp. It came on sometime during the night. That storm was worse than last night — everything went around us.
I *do* have a lake in the backyard. This one will take a few days to dry itself out.

Most of the damage was north and south of me here in Jackson county but my garden took a pretty good beat down due to the rain.

Glad to see you are safe! I have been to Dundee before and lived in Carleton long ago where a tornado hit in July of ‘68. Looks like Flat Rock and Carleton were the targets according the the Monroe Evening News. “The first tornado warning for Monroe County was posted at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday and affected the northern half of the county with Flat Rock and Carleton specifically named as target areas.”

Looks like the crazy weather has impacted everyone near the lower Great Lakes. Leamington, Ontario (about 35 miles southeast of Detroit) also got hit.

Here in Livonia my property value has just increased due to a new river running thru my front yard, and a lake in my backyard :) Garden took a beating Friday night, corn toppled, Sat. night flooded half the garden, and now its raining again. Just Damn.

Talked to my Mother-in-Law who lives there and she is OK; No Power and only one big branch from a tree in her yard busted off, but no other damage.

My garden just got a similar ‘beat down’ from the same line of storms as they swept thru New England, but once it dries out; it will spring back up; stronger than ever. Hopefully; yours will do the same. :-)

Yes it is. The Man she calls to domaintenace when her house needs it went straight from his work (60 min away) to check on her before he even went home to see if there was any damage to his house. There are Angels among us.
