Oil Spill Only the Beginning

Has anyone stopped to realize that the administration that is orchestrating the response to the oil spill is the same one who has hijacked your health care? Residents and the local governments of the Gulf States begged, pleaded and did everything within their power, to get the attention of this administration yet it took a full 34 days to garner any appreciable response from the Federal government. How much attention do you think an individual, in need of medical attention, will get from government officials charged with distributing health care?

Take note that this administration has articulated its priorities very clearly. The bribery, underhanded politics and back room deals needed to pass health care were well executed. Americans won’t know the full extent of those deals for years to come, yet when it came to dealing with a legitimate crisis; the Gulf oil spill, this administration was caught flat footed and didn’t know how to respond.

While the Gulf crisis continues to pollute the immediate area, the international scene has been building to a fever pitch;

North and South Korea is a spark away from going to war again. Israel has been set up. A convoy of Arab transport ships is challenging the blockade. Iran is spewing out threats while continuing to develop nuclear weaponry. China is mocking the USA and solidifying alliances to our detriment. Illegal immigration flow, across the Southern boarder, continues unabated. The US economy is in shambles.

While President Obama is the figurehead or representative for the inept and ideological thrust of this administration, he is still only the figurehead. The real issue here is a generation of people who believe in the ideology put fourth by this President. Many believe that redistribution and Socialist concepts are the way to transform America into some kind of utopian image. If Obama were to step down tomorrow, another figurehead would appear to take his place if the current crop of voting public has its way.

One has to ponder how it will get worse. Will there be another 911 attack? Will our international friends abandon the USA completely due to the rude and high-handed treatment they have received at the hands of this President? What will be the next shoe to drop?

...Katrina when the amount of resources flowing in to alleviate the problem was unpresidented in the history of the world. That was done in about 90 hours.

And remember - the MSM was outrages it took 90 hours. Guess when it's one of their own in the White House they give out passes for hours and days and weeks - and soon - months.

Though the State Department receives the offers, it is BP and the Unified Area Command, led by the Coast Guard, that are the entities that decide which offers to accept. So far, the UAC has accepted skimmers and booms offered by Mexico and Norway. He deferred questions as to why only those offers had been accepted so far to the UAC in Louisiana.”

I am so glad to see this article and your response to it.....I have thought from the beginning that the jerk in the white house and his Chicago thugs...one of whom has made the remark in reference to a former emergency....one should never let a crisis gp by without taking advantage of it....that is the general gist of the guys statement...anyway, from day one I've thought Osama Obama will do whatever it takes in order to reach out and take over the oil industry.

I've said forever that Osama Obama was a little dictator in waiting....that he is another Chavez....and we know what Chavez did with the oil industry in Venezuala...

I heard the other day where there is already some brain dead congressman who is whining around wanting the gov. to take over BP ....give me a break, and I'm sorry to say, I don't remember which party the jerk was even in....we've got to get over this party business...they are, for the most part, a bunch of traitorous crooks...both parties...you can't tell one party from the other.

And don't you just LOVE the so called MSM? There has to be a special place for that bunch too....I'm just sayin.....

In the Gulf Spill debacle the Dear Leader of the Regime is perfectly willing to sacrifice all the animals people and aquatic resources of Louisiana for the chance of just a little political gain against one of his evil foes Bobby Jindal who is not afraid to stand up for America and his state Louisiana.
