Yeah, but he did hit the drums better then Al Jardine.......
He ought to take his “Band On the Run” after his comments.
and still some here are STILL fooled by ‘new world order’ daddy bush. then his son.....good God, wake the hell up huh?
Having a hard time placing the name, certainly have no music of his.............
I guess it’s proper for the Queen and her British subjects to refer to him as “sir”, but we sure as hell don’t have to over here.
I can think of many things to call him, but “sir” isn’t one of them.
In the words of John Lennon, “He’s a Real Nowhere Man.”
Yup, a stupid comment by a singer sends them over the edge. Bush’s ethnic cleansing of America was just dandy....
Not to mention that couple of ‘fools’ up the thread who just HAD to come on here and trash GWB right along with Paul McCartney! Something about Mr. Bush just drives them wild; it seems that all they come on here for is to belly-ache about him.
It doesn’t matter that we have Mr. Marxist in the White House; oh no, they just have to come here to attack George Bush again and again! He must be getting into their heads and driving them insane with hatred, such a pity!
Hey Bush
don’t make it bad
take America and make it Guatemala
remember to let the illegals in
then you begin
to make it Aztlan
Doe Sir Paul realize that Obama is the TAX MAN ?
Sir Paul’s stupid and inappropriate remark aside, who do people think was the better songwriter, Paul McCartney or John Lennon ?
I have often wondered how many MORE memorable songs Lennon would have written had he not died early...
That said, perhaps Sir Paul should get a tighter fitting wig so he isn't required to hold it on with one hand?
What a "Loser".
My daughter gave me John Lennon's 800+ page biography for Christmas year before last. Finally finished it a couple of weeks ago. Gave me a much better understanding as to how mentally screwed up he was.
Two weeks later, Paul re-emphasizes the fact that John was the talent, and Paul was the walrus.
How creative could you be with Yoko Ono hanging around 24/7?
Ok clown... But what are you going to do when or if Obama leaves office? Blame Bush again and again?
Hark! Is that violins I hear? All Bush’s fault, all Bush’s fault! Whah whah whah
You know what, it’s really time to grow up now; it’s PAST time!
Sorry, you lost me right there. There's no way Harrison was in the same league as Lennon or McCartney. Several of his songs are plagiarized, and he was even sued for it. Lennon and McCartney were the creative force behind The Beatles.
McCartney could never stand on his own. Heck, even Ringo wrote "Yellow Submarine" which was more fun and has played more than anything I've heard from McCartney.
"Yellow Submarine"? You'd rank that alongside "All My Loving", "Can't Buy Me Love", "Yesterday", et al? even John, in an interview just before he died, said he wished he'd written "All My Loving". And Paul was the driving force behind Sgt. Pepper. Indeed, Paul's solo work is not as distinguished as his Beatles songs. I guess some people wanna build a world with Silly Love Songs. And what's wrong with that?
None of the Beatles were as successful in their solo careers (artistically) as they were as Beatles.
Bummer for Paul. Yes, he is a Wanker.
At least we agree on that-Sir Paul is a wanker. But we must not dismiss his brilliant songwriting and performances with The Beatles then just because he is a wanker now.
After John's tragic murder, Paul was LOST. Wings and all subsequent songs were like bad dishwater jibberish, if you ask me. That's why I feel badly for Paul now. Loads of money and no connection to talent or reality. Very sad.
