'Hello, goodbye' Mr. McCartney (How many Sir Paul songs can you find in this article?)
American Thinker ^ | 06/05/2010 | Neil Braithwaite

You Won't See Me ever buying a ticket to a Paul McCartney concert after his remarks in the east room of the White House after being given the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. And I've Got a Feeling that many McCartney fans won't Dig It when they find out.

After the ceremony and concert, Paul McCartney told the White House crowd that, "After the last eight years, it's great to have a President who knows what a library is."

Nobody I Know
would ever condone such a rude and demeaning comment in the confines of the White House - especially after just being honored there. But McCartney couldn't Let It Be and acted just like a Little Child waiting for the perfect time to embarrass himself.

The elitist audience clapped and cheered McCartney's repugnant comment when No Reply would have been the respectful response.

We all sometimes get in trouble for Things We Said Today, but there's a time and There's a Place for comments such as this, and the White House is definitely not the place.

Baby, You're a Rich Man
Mr. McCartney, but that doesn't give you the right to bash any former president in our White House.

Maybe you can make comments like that on some Magical Mystery Tour down The Long and Winding Road to Penny Lane or Back in the USSR, but never at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

What You're Doing
Mr. McCartney is letting everyone know exactly What Goes On in that liberal elitist mind of yours.

And It Won't Be Long until America peers into the Looking Glass and no longer sees a rock and roll icon, just The Fool On The Hill.

Unfortunately Mr. McCartney, you'll have to Carry That Weight for the rest of your life.

Hello, Goodbye
Mr. McCartney.

I knew McCartney was a lib fool but I didn’t know he was so low class, rude, and venal....Ugh. His idiotic remark, especially its timing and location, is one of the most spectacular displays of cluelessness I have ever seen in a musician.

I think Paul looks good with the new facelift. He hasn’t written a decent song since he and John parted company. Lennon was the major talent. McCartney needs to STFU about politics that he doesn’t and cannot understand in his liberal brain.

Like most people on the left side they are very low rent. Also proof that money can not buy class!

Actually, several songs in the article were Lennon's. I actually think Paul was as major a talent as Lennon. Paul's solo career is much better, IMO, while Lennon's solo career is just so much Oedipal angst.

That said, Sir Paul is definitely a wanker. At least we can smile about the fact that his second wife raked him over the coals.

The “boy” from Liverpool should have learned his lessons by now.
My five year old “love” has permanently died.
I am embarassed for this buffoon.
I was actually ready to download RAM but ... changed my mind.

Facelift? I didn’t notice. He still looks like a 70 yo man to me. I never knew he was older than my Mother!

McCartney had a "solo career"? OK, I'll give you "Live and Let Die" (anyone could have written that) and "Drink to me" (a little ditty that Wings did). The truth is that McCartney was LOST without Lennon. Lennon was the driving force of talent. I feel sorry for Paul, and I hope he feels regret for the jab at GW. GW has 10xtimes more education and Laura was a Librarian.

Lennon and Harrison were the true talents. McCartney could never stand on his own. Heck, even Ringo wrote "Yellow Submarine" which was more fun and has played more than anything I've heard from McCartney. Bummer for Paul. Yes, he is a Wanker.

Proud to say I have never given one dime to McCartney or the Beatles. Don’t plan to either.

I spent the day in San Jose California today, if i hadn’t known better I’d have sworn I was in Mexico. The most insulting thing I ever heard in the White house was George Bush telling Americans these illegals were only doing jobs we wouldn’t. That bastard did everything in his power to flood our country with cheap ‘illegal’ labor. McCartney’s comments were lame. Let me try. Screw you George Bush.
